I was on the pill for quite some time, but I went off of it in may. After stopping it, I had a period...But I haven't had one since then. The last time I had sex was 3 weeks ago, and we didn't use protection. My periods have always been quite irregular, so I don't really have a way of knowing when my next one should/would show up. Anyway, I haven't had too many overwhelming symptoms, but there are some things that are bothering me.

For the past couple of days i've had light cramping that comes and goes, mostly showing up when i'm in a resting position.

Also in the past couple of days, it seems no matter how much I sleep i'm still tired. Of course, it could just be that i'm oversleeping.

I've also had nausea that's been coming and going. Sometimes it's not there, sometimes it's only a nagging annoyance, and others it hits me really hard. I haven't actually thrown up, but I have found myself wishing I could do so(in hopes that it would make me feel better) and I have dry heaved a few times...And a few of those times were in reaction to the smell of food that I normally like. I've been experiencing a bit of heartburn lately as well. It has been almost overwhelming at times.

Yesterday I developed a burning/tingling sensation in one of my nipples. It fades for a few seconds and then gets stronger, but it is there.

So, i'm beginning to get slightly worried that I might be pregnant. I'm not sure when I should take a test, or if I have anything to be worried about at all...So I was hoping to see what everyone else thought. Thanks!

I'm planning on going to get one tonight and I was going to take it sometime toward the end of the week. I'm getting so impatient with waiting, because I want to know so badly..But I don't want to test too soon.

Well, it's not an unwanted thing. No, it wasn't at all planned..I wasn't trying to get pregnant. However, if I am, I think i'll be happy about it.

Take the Test Take the Test Take the Test !!!!!!!!
How exciting !!!

If you think you conceived 3 weeks ago, a positive should show now.
According to the 28 day cycle, 14 day ovulation rule, you'd be a week late for your period already, so a test would be accurate.

Do it, do it !!!!!!!

Good luck !!!!!!!!

Well I didn't have a chance to pick one up last night. It's going to be a couple of days before I can brave the supermarket again...With the now tropical storm heading our way, every store in town has been absolutely packed. I suppose it's slightly good though, because I don't think I could have waited until when I had planned to actually take it.

Pregnant or not, one good thing has come from this...I've successfully stopped smoking, seeing as every time I lit up I found myself gagging.
