Are any of you in my situation? Lol

i want to know the sex... But my other half doesnt! And to make it wores, my mother doesnt want to know either! They both said I could find out, but just not to tell them lol. How would I do that???

So ends up I am not finding out the sex of the baby... There is just no way I could be the only one who knows! Then what is the point of knowing if I have to buy neutral stuff anyway so I dont give it away for mom and hubby!

My hubby and I were in the same situation, I want to know, and he doesn't (we are not pregnant yet - but trying) I just told him that I am going to find out, and I don't care if he does or not.. Then as a joke (kind of) I told him that I would also not keep it a secret, so he could be in the room with me and find out.. Or he could hear it through the grapevine, either way he is going to find out hehe.

He finally gave in (he knows that I can't keep a secret, and I hate surprises... I still snoop at christmas)

anyway, hope you can talk your hubby into it. Good luck.

Maybe I will be in a similar situation if all girls in my husband's family are all well. But they're not. Girls in his side end up with a heart problem and unfortunately, they die at a young age. Surprisingly, all boys are healthy, strong and live long. We decided to know the sex of the baby in case it's a girl. Knowing this at an early stage can help us go through series of tests to determine any genetic problems our baby might have i.E., heart problem, etc to prevent it in getting worse. You may consider discussing this option with your husband in case you or his family have a history of any genetic problems.
