When Did I Conceive?

My due date is december 17-24 of 2005. I
had sex on the 8th or 9th of march 2005.
I got my period around the 18th it was one
day late but I guess it was normal I dont
remember. I also had sex around the 23rd
or before of march 2005. So what days did
I conceive? Around the 8th or the 23rd?

If they are indeed correct on the due date
you would have conceived around the 25th.
Sperm can live a few days in the womans
body--some say 5 days others say 7 days.
So if you had sex on the 23rd and ovulated
on the 25th the 23rd would be correct
date of conception.

Actually you conception date is the day of
ovulation. It does not matter when you
have sex. Conception occurs when the egg
is fertilized by the sperm, so if there is
no egg--no conception. If you ovulated
on the 25th that is the day of conception.
Sperm can live up to 5 days but the normal
average is 72hours.

But don't you ovulate for several day's?
Like they said for me it was from the
15-22 of may and I had sex on may 15,
17,23,26. And I get it every 22 day's and
I am never late but I missed my period on
june 3rd and never began. So was I
already pregnant at that time?

unprotected sex from the 10-16th you have
a chance of conceiving. Less chance on
the 10th and 16th.

name shows up as guest. I'd need to know
when you started your last period, and how
long your cycles were before you got
pregnant?
Let me give you mine for example. I
charted my temperatures so I know exactly
when I concieved. Now--it's mainly up to
your body and sometimes it can go out of
wack--especially when a pregnancy is meant
to be. So cd1 of your period is the day
you start bleeding. My cycles used to be
29 days, then all of a sudden decided to
become 27 days. Well since I was
charting I knew that my luteal phase is 14
days. Luteal phase is the time after you
ovulate until you get your period. It is
usually 14 days for most woman. So if my
cycle was 29 days I ovulated on cd15 or
for 27 days-it would be cd 13. This
last cycle that I got pregnant on, because
I was stressing due to my wedding I did
not ovulate until cd 18. But thats a
whole different thing. So basically if
you had a 28 day cycle you would ovulate
on cd 14. So if you period started on
the 1st--you ovalated on the 14th, and if
you had sex between the 9-15th you could
get pregnant--but you concieved on the
14th. So by the time the 28th comes
along and you are pregnant. The fetus is
2 weeks old, and the pregnancy would be
4wks along. Does that help you out?

Mama17 I think you probably concieved on
the 20th of may. The sperm from the 17th
could have done it. But like I said the
body is a mystery sometimes.

My period began on may 7, and finished on
may 12, I had sex on the day's I wrote .
And I kept a chart of when I had sex and
when I was to begin my period I was to
begin on june 3rd cause I counted 22 day's
from the day that I finished on which was
the 12 of may...
I never began and I did not notice it
until the 22 of june....
