Q: Could I Be Pregnant

Hi
i have been off of the pill for 3 months now. Just last week I saw my husband before he was leaving for iraq and, of course, we had unprotected sex. The first time that we did have sex I used a spermicidal film. But we both had a reaction to it and didn't use it, or a condom, the last couple of times we had sex. I know I won't technically know if I am for a few more weeks, but I want to know if I could be. I've already heard that there is a possabillity that I could be, but I really want to know what the percentage would be. I also have not started my period since I have been off the pill. If anyone could help me I would love it. Thank you so much
anxious military wife

of Course
You could definately be pregnant!! I hope that you are ok with that. If you don't want to be, keep in mind that this will give you a little image of your husband while he is away. I want to also say how much I admire women in your position, I don't think I could have married a man in the military. And I admire your husband for going over there, though I do not completely agree with the war I have tremendous respect for our soldiers and their families who stay by their sides and keep encouraging them.

Oh I definatly want to be, but i've already been through a disapointment about a month and a half ago where my husband and I thought I was pregnant but it turned out that I wasn't and it crushed us both. I know it was because I had just gotten off of the pill, but still it was devistating. I hope this one will be different. I really want to be pregnant. Oh, and thank you for what you said. It is a hard thing to be a military wife but if you love the person then it doesn't matter what they do or if that job takes them to other ends of the earth. Your heart is with them as well as theirs with you. :d
