Hi! I am wondering....... Whether it is possible to tell if u r pregnant by monitoring ure temperature? I read some postings in here saying that when u r pregnant, ure temperature is higher than ure normal temperature.

Is this true? Or how true is this? Has anyone tried?
Any pregnant lady willing to check ure temperature and let us know.

If this is true, then apart from home uring test, those like me trying to conceive can monitor their body temperatures.

I hope to hear some tips from pregnant ladies as well as those who have heard or read such things.

Pls share what u know..... Thanks!

Its 7:30a.M. Here and I just took my temperature and it was normal, my temperature usually doesnt start rising until the middle of the day, I usually get really flushed and start feeling dizzy but I am also anemic and have regular hot flashes.

I've read about that, you know taking your temperature but... It was to tell if you were ovulating or not. So... I'm not sure but that is what I read though.

Hi, I am normlly 97.6 all the time. When I thought I was preg, within days of conception I thought id do a temp cuz it is higher when preg. Approx. .5 degrees. Goes up at ovulation and stays up if conception happens. Anyway I tried like 1 week after, temp was 98.3 and every time since then my temp is taken it is 98.3. I am 12.2 weeks preg in my abdomen. I have no uterus and cant pass the hcg test, blood or urine!!!

So joanne,

u could tell from the basal temp, if u r ovulating, pregnant or even had a abortion or miscarriage, if u keep tracking the temp at the same time of the day everyday...

That's cool.
