I had a miscarriage and then got pregnant about 3 months later and carried my baby boy full term. It happens to alot of us. I think that it's .God's way of taking something that would have been less then perfect. I also believe that someday I will met the child I lost in heaven. Good luck to you all who have lost a baby and all of you who are preggy now!!!

My doctor told me that I shud have at least two menstrual cycyles before I try again. After my first miscarriage I waited for the 2 cycles and then I decided to try again, but after I lost the twin I told myself that I didn't want to go thru that kind of heartache again so I held off for a while. I discussed with my fiance how I was feeling and he too was devastated, so he understood how I felt. To be honest being pregnant now is such a surprise to both of us and very unexpected becuz I was on the pill. Granted, I came off for a month, but I didn't expect to get pregnant so soon after just being off for a month. Going to my doctor's office for the first ultrascan was not easy becuz as I lied on that bed I was totally prepared to hear the worse news, so imagine my surprise when he said 'well, there is definately a fetus there and listen to that strong heartbeat'. Up to now though as happy as I am somedays there are other days when I am so scared and I feel as though I am going to jinx this pregnancy if I get too excited {sigh}. Ya know I had my first child at 27, she is 11 now and back then I didn't even know anything about miscarriage or anything like that, not until I had those two last year. I went thru my first pregnancy so happy go lucky, but losing a child really makes you look at stuff differently. But I guess we are all here to help each other thru it. Hang in there to all of you, my prayers are with you all.

Miscarriage
I have been pregnant 4 times, my first pregnancy I had and abortion for health reasons, then 6 years later I had my son (5years old now), then in december 04 I miscarried, and again june 05, my periods are starting to get back to normal now so I think I will start trying again soon, although I am really concerned that it will happen again (the miscarriage I mean). I wish everyone the best of luck

i am sorry to hear 'bout the loss of your baby. Utis are indeed very common during pregnancy. One of my friends lost her 6 mo old baby because of uti. I know how difficult it is but be strong. As for how long you have to wait when to get pregnant again, just like what "mommydearest" wrote, I was also advised by my dr to wait for 2 mentrual cycles before trying again. Take care.

i'm so sorry!! My heart broke for you when I read this!! I'v been there too and you will be okay...Just give yourself time. Like the others said just wait two months and you can get preggy again. Any remember if you have another uti next pregnancy, that does not mean that you are going to lose your baby. I had three uti's during my pregnancy (bad ones, lots of blood in my urine) and my baby was just fine. Good luck to you and let us know when you are preggy again!! I promise you'll make it through.

My prayers are with you,

3 miscarriages in one year
I am 26, married two years, and have had 3 miscarriages, and now we are unable to get pregnant. All around me friends of mine are getting pregnant and miscarrying 5 of my 7 friends who have gotten pregnant have miscarried. Only 2 have children now. Are there any success stories out there of people who have had recurrent miscarriages and were able to stay pregnant and have children?
