When I was around 10-11 weeks pregnant before,...My doctor also didnt hear the heart beat,..But he told me it could be that the baby is so small an the position it may be in can make it hard to hear the baby,..He always said its like a needle in a hay stack the babys so small its sumtimes hard to hear that early. So dont worry to much. It could be jus that.

How many weeks are you? The heart is one of the most noticeable part regardless of your gestation. You can see it beating as early as 4 weeks. I first heard of my baby's heartbeat during my 13th week scan. If you are on your first trimester, your doctor will be the best person to tell if there is indeed something wrong with your baby.

I went for a scan following bleeding. I was told I was 5 weeks, and only had a sac and yolk. I have just had another scan and they have now confirmed that I am 6.5 weeks and I saw the heart beat.

Keep calm and relax. Everything happens for a reason and all control is out of your hands which is why things can be so difficult. We eat what we should, stop smoking, stop drinking alcohol and still there could be a problem. Another girl can be an alcoholic, and heroin addict and she can have an easy pregnancy with no complications and give birth to a perfect baby.

The outcome is in the lap of the gods and we can only try and do what is right.

I hope that everything works out....
Xx
