Boy Or Girl

I know there probably isn't a definet way
of telling if its a boy or a girl besides
ultrasound (and even thats not 100%) but I
was wondering if there was anything I can
do to try to predict what it is? Like
certain things I can look for on myself or
certain things that may be happening
throughout the pregnancy? Ok thanks bye

I dont think there is sweetie but ya never
know. There are tons of "wives tales"
about that type of thing though. It all
depends on how much u believe what they
say. Melissa

None of these wives tales worked for me!
Lol. I carry quite low and i'm having a
boy. Also, I hold my friends baby boys
all the time in the school nursury and
they dont cry very often. And when they
do, its usually cuz they need a diaper
change or aere hungry. Lol. But I dunno.
They may work for some people.

Well....I was always told that if it is
all out front that its a boy, and the
sides a girl. Well I am in the middle.
Mine is out front, but also on the sides
(more out front tho). I found out that
mine is a girl (ultrasound tech could
actually see her clitoris). I knew for
the past 5 months (im 29 weeks) that is
was a girl. If I went into a toy store
and looked at any boy's toys, I got really
lightheaded and sick. But if I looked at
girl's toys (dolls, cute little girly
stuff) the baby moved like crazy. If I
looked at boy's clothes, I got
lightheaded. If I looked at girl's
clothes, she moved. That's how I knew
that it was a girl. I have been telling
my family, fiance and the docs for the
past 5 months that it is a girl. That
was my way of knowing. You can try the
trick where you take your
wedding/engagement ring (if u have one),
tie it on a string and hold it in front of
ur stomach. If it goes side to side it's
a boy, spins in circles it's a girl!
That worked too. It is different for
people depending on how much u believe it.

Actually, carrying low would mean a boy
and carrying high a girl.
Those are obviously not accurate because
i'm pregnant with a boy and am carrying
high.

i've always heard it as, if you're having
a boy you carry high, girl low. I carried
high with both my boys.
Just keep in mind that these are old wives
tales..... Take it for what it's worth!
I know some ppl are very superstitious,
but it is what it is.

If the heartbeat is over 150 its a girl
under its a boy both have been true for
both my kids and all other babies I know.
Also ive had a couple of older ladies come
up to me and tell me what it is and they
were always right.

Well I always watch those pregnancy shows
and on one of them the midwife put a ring
on a peice of string and she held it over
the ladies belly at if it waved back and
forth that meant it was a boy and if it
made a circle that meant it was a girl..
It showed it was a girl and then they did
the ultra sound and that proved it was a
girl.. I also tried it at 16 wks and it
showed me I was having a boy and I went
into get my ultra sound yesterday at
almost 19 wks and I found out it was a
boy.. So it worked for me.. What I did
was just got a plain fake silver ring and
put it on some floss and did it. The
midwife said its like 90% correct! Also
you can try the chinese lunar calender
just look it up on yahoo, that also told
me I was having a boy and I believe its
80% correct..

thats a myth.
The babies heartbeat changes from month to
month, at first its really high around 160
and up, then it comes to be about 150-153,
which is what my babies heartbeat is
now.
I'm having a boy.

I'm with dalicia thats a myth.
Every sympton of mine (carry high, carry
low, morning sickness , etc) pointed to
boy. I had a girl. They are wives tales
and never true. Course some might be
right, but theres a 50/50 chance of that
so obviously it will happen lots.
