Q: Am I Pregnant?

I've got sooo many questions. I've been trying to get pregnant for a year with no luck. This will be my first pregnancy. Before we started trying, I was on the pill for about 5 years, could this have something to do with not getting pregnant?

Also, my last period ended august 9th. I just started spotting, it is brownish in color and very light, could this be implantation bleeding, or just my period getting ready to start? If it is my period, my cycle was only 24 days long, is this normal? I thought they were usually 28 days.

One more thing, I have been starving and eating non-stop the past week. No cravings in perticular, just hungry for anything.

Does it sound like i'm pregnant this time, if not, any helpful suggestions that might speed it up?

Yeah.. I guess you're right. We just want a baby so bad. I really do think being on the pill for so many years has had something to do with this though.

Also, i'm worried because my husband is 43 and I am 24, he's got 2 kids from a previous marriage so i'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with him. But, men can have kids no matter what age can't they??? Or is there a certain age where it is harder like it is for women?

Actually, they tell you that it may take up to a year for your body to even regulate itself after getting off of birth control. Especially since you were on it for 5 years. Many people can get pregnant right after getting off birth control, but there are also many people that go a year or two without being able to.

Acutaly as far as body regulation after the pill that can take about 3 - 6 months. If you were on the shot (ie. Depo) then it can take over a year.

I was on the bc pill for 8 years and it took me about 4 months until I was "regular" my husband and I just started "trying" and according to my Dr. He said not to worry about anything until we have tried at least for a year.

Good luck and I hope you are blessed soon, but try not to stress about it if you do the stress will throw your cycle off.....

Brownish spotty blood is a very good sign of pregnancy. You do the math==14 10-14approx 24 or a little later. 14 days until ovulation and 10-14 more days for implantation-=brownish spotty blood.

I think you are--
