Well, with my ex hubby I had been on the pill for 11 years. We decided to not prevent pregnancy so I stopped the pill. I was off the pill that whole year we were married and never got pregnant. Due to fighting all the time I told him I wasn't happy, and next thing I know that weekend he moved out and filed for divorce on valentine's day.

Well then I had decided I would remain single the rest of my life with a few partners here and there to fill my needs. I went back on the pill again in march. I guess god had other plans for me. I will be married again in october to a wonderful man.

Since I turned 30 in august we discussed children. I told him I am not getting any younger. My fiance also decided he would like a child, and said that I could quit taking my pills whenever I was ready to.

I quit taking my pills in july. I should have started them again july 16th, after my period. The first day of my last period was july 12. I am now pregnant, due around april 23rd. From my calculations, if I am like the average woman, I must have ovulated and conceived around july 26th. I was suprised that before in my other marriage I went a year with nothing, andthen here with my new fiance it was instantly. We thought it would take a while to happen.

I used a free on-line program to calculate my most fertile days. We had sex every night that week. One thing we did differently is that when finished he stayed inside me for as long as we could stand it. Also, instead of getting up right away to clean up like usual I would lay in bed for a bit, usually on my side to help keep everything in. I have also read where it is good to prop your rear up on a pillow to help keep everything in, although we never did this.

Just keep trying, and hopefully it will happen. Good luck!
