I have been trying to get pregnant for a
year. I took a test three days ago and
it was negative. I took a test today
and 3 hours later it was positive.
Faintly pink and with a white
"evaporation" line under it. I took two
more and the same thing. I really
confused it I am pregnant or not. I
pulled out the old one ( from three days
ago)and it was still negative. I am not
sure what is causing these lines and if I
should be happy. I was wondering if
anyone has been through the same thing.

Evaporation Lines Posted: 09-07-05 00:22am
Sometimes it is possible to mistake
evaporation lines for a positive result,
but if there is an evaporation line as
well as a positive line, then it might be
positive for real.
Usually they say only a result that occurs
within 3 minutes is reliable, and results
should only be read up to something like
10 minutes after testing.
But if it keeps coming up positive, then I
think you are pregnant.
If you are still unsure, do one with first
urine in the morning, or better yet, pop
into the doctor for confirmation.
