I Haven't the Faintest Idea?

Hello again,
well just back from a meal from my
favourite restaurant with my fiance for
our six and a half years together. Well
on the way home I asked him to get a
pregnancy test as I felt that I must as I
was going to a christning on saturday and
wanted to know? Well becos I am feeling
tired all the time and just can't keep my
eyes open and very cranky! Well he got me
a double 1st response test. Went upstairs
and done the business (wee) and waited for
3 minutes. I went into the toilet and
looked at it in disappointment!!!!!
Then as I looked closer ans closer and
closer I saw this other line?????? Its
absolutely faint and I mean faint. My bf
could see but said its a faint line and
not to think anything of it but he could
see it. Then I asked my mother and she
went and got her glasses and said yeh but
do not get ur hopes up cos its very very
faint! Now as I look at it, its
dissapering????
What do I think?? I am going to bed early
every night and as I wiped myself 2night,
I got a blotch of brown blood and i'm not
due until saturday? Please reply as I am
really in need of support here and very
confused and high hopes?

If you had the first response test that
should be enough time to get a positive
especially since your period is saturday.
I'd until you were a couple days late and
than test again and do it with first
morning urine because it has more of the
hormone in. The first hpt I took was a
very very faint positive too but still a
positive and I waited a couple days and
tested again in the morning and sure
enough the line was darker and i'm now
almost 10 weeks. Good luck.

Hello poohbear,
thanx 4 the reply.
I'm like what is this I see and the bf is
no, ur imagining it? But as he looks at
it closer he's like yeh its a line but so
faint it's not there. Then I got the
other test I had from about a month or so
ago and compared it? There was no line
near it that I had? No silch.. But i'm
absolutley tired all the time and drinking
to beat the band. The only reason I said
get a test as I am being godmother to my
brothers daughter and did not want to
drink if I am??? I want to be sure if I
am?
But I am sure enough happy to be alchohol
free than not know?

The vey first pregnancy test I took was
faint, faint, faint... I didn't think it
was really positive, so I waited a few
days, and took another. The next one,
the line was still faint, but a little
darker than the first. I'd say you've
got a positive test, regardless of the
shade of the line.

Hi sammy,
do u really think so?
I'm one of those people who have been on
the web for ages and are looking through
everthing for info. Then all of a sudden
after I do a test, I get a brown discharge
when I wipe?
Its so weird as I am used to
congratulating ev1 else and am like no u
will be soon! Have u any kids??

Yes..I have a 5 month old baby boy. In
the summer of 2004 is when I got pregnant
with him. I was late by about 3 days
when I did the first test, which was
faint, and the second test was only a
couple days after the first... They were
both faint...But, if you see a line, that
means it is positive. If it wasn't
positive, then nothing would show up at
all.
It doesn't have to be bright to be
positive...It just has to be there...Why
don't you go get one of the pregnancy test
that actually says "yes"..-for yes...And
"no" for no...
Then there will be no mistaking.

The brown discharge is probably
implantation bleeding. When I first got
pregnant, I didn't know that even
exsisted, and freaked becaise I thought I
was miscarrying

Well,
its quite a long story as I thought
I was preg from last month as I don't
think that possible as it's not adding up.
And if I was wos it would show up by
now! The reason being is that I was
cramping for ages after I had sex and had
spotting around my af time and onle lasted
for 3 days. Last month. Then it was
brown to start off with and developed into
red and was really light and then back to
brown.
But this month I bd the bf and am soo
tired I am lying on my back all of the
time. He's ike u love lying on ur back
all the time and it's only comfy way for
me. Then yesterday, I wos doing crunches
and my pelvis starting to aches really
bad???
I'm just alot tired lately and wanting to
scream for some reason!!!!!
I really appreciate u reply though?

I agree I took the first responce test to
and it was positve then when I went to the
dr and took the urine test there it was
faint there too. At first they were like
no I am sorry you are not pregnant then
when I was getting ready to leave the
nurse came back and got me and was like
you will never believe this but you are.
It was just I was so early. 4wks and
2days to be exact..

Hi,
well I did another test and the same
thing, this one was alot fainter than the
other one. Probably cos I drank loads of
water! Is it normal for the line to
disapear after half and hour?

i would strongly recommend not doing
crunches! Implantation bleeding is when
the fertilised egg is implating itself
into your uterus. So, anytime before
this, I would imagine (as I am not
completely sure) that it's just hanging
around, trying to get a hold on your
insides. If you do crunches, you could
cause problems where implatation doesn't
occur and you miscarry.
When I told my mum that I was pregnant,
she told me that I had to stop lifting
heavey things, make my fella come shopping
with me and generally take care of myself.
It's really difficult as you don't feel
like you should be taking things easy
until much later in the pregnancy, but to
make sure that baby is ok, you really
shouldn't do any excersize that puts a
strain on your tummy.
On another note....If your test has the
faintest of lines - you're pregnant. I
had a really faint line - so much so, I
too thought I was imagining it...But a
week later, there was a nice strong
line!
Good luck with your pregnancy and just
take things really easy....

Hi raperry,
well the othe day, I was
doing sit up and my back wos absolutely
killing me! I had a sore spot at the
bottom of my back for ages! Its gone
now, thank god.
U just never know. I go to the gym
regulalry so will decrease he weights and
all. Do u think running will be ok as I
do it 3 times a week and enjoy it. I
will do more swimming though.
How long are u one??

Hi sadey....I'm 7 weeks, 5 days according
to my last v.Scan.
I don't do exersize :oops:!! But am
planning to start swimming. I was a
jetskier and find it sooo frustrating that
I can't go out playing but have to watch
my partner and friends having a good time
:cry: !!
Keeping this a secret too so they just
think that I am wimping out with a bad
back....Lol
i would just check that you don't overdo
the gym stuff. I've been told not to
stretch as well and have noticed when
reaching for things from the kitchen
cupboard that I get a twinge in my
tummy.
How far are you?

Well I am due tomorrow, so I would say 4
weeks approx. I'm just wondering that
it's not from last month as I did loads of
test but got my af. Well they were
really not a normal af. They were
brown/red and only lasted for around 2
half days. I had bad cramps, alot of gas
and heartburn!
I don't think, as I stopped testing b4 my
af came so never did one after that! So
am not too sure. If that the case
wouldn't the test come up darker then! I
doubt its from last month. I am not too
sure though.
Well i'm still not too convinced I am preg
though!!!!! Just don't want to get my
hopes up. Its weird as I had a dream the
other night that I got 2 lines and in my
deam that meant a negative. But then my
mother said u normally reverse it???

You seem to have the same attitude as
me...."what will be will be" and that
other great one "everything happens for a
reason". Since I had bleeding and the
doctors thought I was either weeks, I had
a scan early to check everything was
ok....So already have a prospective due
date... Baby is currently due on 23 april
2006!
My grandad died last year and he meant the
world to me and his birthday was 24 april!
I recon junior will be poping out then!
Fingers crossed. Lol

Thats really weird, co that means then
that u would have the same af dates as me.
Was last month the 13th august. My due
dates if I wos pregnancy for last month
and thats the dates I would of gotten!
What was the scan like? At least u got to
have a little look and see that everyhting
is ok and see it for real!!!!

First scan (5 weeks) was literaly a round
sac with an egg in it....The second (6.5
weeks) was a (how do I put it) a peanut
type shape with a heart beat!!!
I didn't get to see very much but was
lovely to see that it was really real and
not in my imagination!
They get your due date from the size of
the fetus.
I was told after my first scan that it was
possible that as both me and my doctor
thought I was further along than I was, I
may not have a viable
pregnancy....Anembryonic. So, I did all
the checks on the internet about that
condition and other ones, just to make
sure that I had all the facts and new what
was going on. It made me feel so much
calmer! But luckily everything was fine.
(the first bit I saw though....Was only
the sac and my heart missed a beat, then
as she kept looking around I thought to
myself, don't be silly, you know you're
ok!)
have you met with the midwife yet?

Well I only did a test last night, so I am
going to do another one tomorrow to see if
the line darkens at all. I'm not 100%
sure yet???

Wow....You'll do a few more as the time
goes by and you have to wait for scans!
I met this woman the other day and she
said that when she was pregnant, she
tested her wee every morning. She said
that she would wee into a jar first thing
in the morning, let it settle, then pour
the clear stuff off the top and you're
left with frog sporn looking stuff. She
says that as the pregnancy hormone
increases, so does the thickness of the
frog sporn type stuff!
Not sure if I would wanna do this
personally!!
