Pregnancy Forum - I Haven't the Faintest Idea?

Hello again,
well just back from a meal from my favourite restaurant with my fiance for our six and a half years together. Well on the way home I asked him to get a pregnancy test as I felt that I must as I was going to a christning on saturday and wanted to know? Well becos I am feeling tired all the time and just can't keep my eyes open and very cranky! Well he got me a double 1st response test. Went upstairs and done the business (wee) and waited for 3 minutes. I went into the toilet and looked at it in disappointment!!!!!

Then as I looked closer ans closer and closer I saw this other line?????? Its absolutely faint and I mean faint. My bf could see but said its a faint line and not to think anything of it but he could see it. Then I asked my mother and she went and got her glasses and said yeh but do not get ur hopes up cos its very very faint! Now as I look at it, its dissapering????

What do I think?? I am going to bed early every night and as I wiped myself 2night, I got a blotch of brown blood and i'm not due until saturday? Please reply as I am really in need of support here and very confused and high hopes?

If you had the first response test that should be enough time to get a positive especially since your period is saturday. I'd until you were a couple days late and than test again and do it with first morning urine because it has more of the hormone in. The first hpt I took was a very very faint positive too but still a positive and I waited a couple days and tested again in the morning and sure enough the line was darker and i'm now almost 10 weeks. thanx 4 the reply. I'm like what is this I see and the bf is no, ur imagining it? But as he looks at it closer he's like yeh its a line but so faint it's not there. Then I got the other test I had from about a month or so ago and compared it? There was no line near it that I had? No silch.. But i'm absolutley tired all the time and drinking to beat the band. The only reason I said get a test as I am being godmother to my brothers daughter and did not want to drink if I am??? I want to be sure if I am?

But I am sure enough happy to be alchohol free than not know?

I'd Say +!

The vey first pregnancy test I took was faint, faint, faint... I didn't think it was really positive, so I waited a few days, and took another. The next one, the line was still faint, but a little darker than the first. I'd say you've got a positive test, regardless of the shade of the line.

Hi sammy,
do u really think so? I'm one of those people who have been on the web for ages and are looking through everthing for info. Then all of a sudden after I do a test, I get a brown discharge when I wipe?

Its so weird as I am used to congratulating ev1 else and am like no u will be soon! Have u any kids??

Yes..I have a 5 month old baby boy. In the summer of 2004 is when I got pregnant with him. I was late by about 3 days when I did the first test, which was faint, and the second test was only a couple days after the first... They were both faint...But, if you see a line, that means it is positive. If it wasn't positive, then nothing would show up at all.

It doesn't have to be bright to be positive...It just has to be there...Why don't you go get one of the pregnancy test that actually says "yes"..-for yes...And "no" for no...
Then there will be no mistaking.

The brown discharge is probably implantation bleeding. When I first got pregnant, I didn't know that even exsisted, and freaked becaise I thought I was miscarrying

Well,
its quite a long story as I thought I was preg from last month as I don't think that possible as it's not adding up. And if I was wos it would show up by now! The reason being is that I was cramping for ages after I had sex and had spotting around my af time and onle lasted for 3 days. Last month. Then it was brown to start off with and developed into red and was really light and then back to brown.

But this month I bd the bf and am soo tired I am lying on my back all of the time. He's ike u love lying on ur back all the time and it's only comfy way for me. Then yesterday, I wos doing crunches and my pelvis starting to aches really bad???

I'm just alot tired lately and wanting to scream for some reason!!!!!

I really appreciate u reply though?

I agree I took the first responce test to and it was positve then when I went to the dr and took the urine test there it was faint there too. At first they were like no I am sorry you are not pregnant then when I was getting ready to leave the nurse came back and got me and was like you will never believe this but you are. It was just I was so early. 4wks and 2days to be exact..
