Not Sure If This Is the Right Forum..... Posted: 09-09-05 03:10am
For the last month and a half my pinky,
ring and middle finger in my left hand is
numb, the numbness runs from there up my
fore arm and upper arm, my pinky and ring
finger are the same on my right hand but
not as severe. My body and legs are
sensitive to hot and cold, my body
constantly feels like it is hot, when I
take a shower my bodys stings and then
eventually gets use to the water. I also
have the sense of fatigue in my legs when
I walk, like they are going to give out
from under me and they have a couple of
times. After I have been sitting down for
no matter what length of time and I stand
up my muscles in my legs and well mostly
all over feel like they want to cramp. In
the mornings when I get up the numbness
and heat is not as bad but as the days
goes on it gets worse.
I took a fall about 2 months ago and
thought this might be the cause,
i am really confused, I had seen my
regular doctor and he said it was that
the nerves in my neck were being squeezed
by the muscle in my neck. He ran some
blood tests and said that my potassium was
a little high, he gave me indocin and
flexeril.
I then went to another doctor since I fell
at work they sent me to a wc clinic, the
doctor said it was carpel tunnel syndrome
and possibly nerve damage. This doctor
gave me soma and ultram. He ordered a
nerve conductive test but cant do the test
until it is cleared by the ins comp. He
has me doing simple neck, shoulder and
hand exercises and electric stimulation
therapy on my neck and shoulders.
My concerns are that none of these are
working.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to
read this,

since the fall happended last just in 05.
