Hi there,

glucophage is also known as metformin. It is normally used in type 2 diabetes. It has shown promise in women trying to conceive who have polycystic ovarian disease as well. Not to get too personal, but are you overweight? This medication also helps people lose a bit of weight which could help regulate hormone balance. Type metformin in the search box near the top of the page and you'll get more info than you could ever want on the medication. A good idea would also be to talk to the doc who prescribed it and ask him/her exactly why you are taking it....Should never use medication without knowing exactly why you are on it. Good luck
