I Really Need Some Advice

Okay.. I'm 17 and I have been with my boyfriend for about 3 months. About 3 days ago I found out that I was pregnant. I am not sure if I want to keep it, or have an abortion. Most of the reason that I would have the abortion is because I wouldnt want to dissapoint my mother. She and I both have such big plans for me in life, and her biggest fear was me getting pregnant. It kills me that I wont be able to go off to a university and start like i've been planning my whole life, but then again.. These are my actions that I need to live with. I know that my boyfriend and I have only been together for a short time, but I honestly do love him. And I know most people would say i'm young and dont know what love is, but i'm a lot more mature than most people my age... I've had to grow up fast, and I do know what love is when I feel it. To me, age is a number... I've always felt older just trapped in my body. I know that I won't be able to stay here with my mother if I do tell her, I wouldnt want to anyways... I couldnt watch her look at me in pain everyday. She's always told me there would be no help if this happened, it's either abortion or get out. Ever since I was a little girl i've always been against abortion. I'm lost

What do you want, it's not important what other people think, because it's your baby, thats inside of you which makes it your decision.

Your baby already has a heartbeat.

Let me tell you something. I'm 17 and am 5 months pregnant. I'm still in school and am going to college. When people say getting pregnant will ruin your life and keep you from school. That's a myth, you quit school because you want too. If you really wanted to succeed in life, you'd set your mind to it and do what you want to do, not what people tell you how you're life is set out for you.

You don't need you're mom for support. In my state you can move out at 17, and if you have a baby or if you're pregnant. The state pays for you a place to live and provides food for you. I'm sure there is some type of benefit for you, if it's needed.

I was worried about what my family would say,who wouldn't worry?? But my mom and dad have really warmed up to it.

I don't believe in abortions neither, but it did cross my mind when the test came back saying I was. I went to the doctor and heard the heartbeat and started crying. Anything that has a heart feels pain, it's no different than killing a person like you and i.

If you want to talk more just send me a private message.

I definitely don't generalize; I don't consider all 17 year-olds immature. I conceived my first child at 17 and he is now 6 years old. His father and I had been dating for a year when we found out I was pregnant. We are married now and have 2 beautiful boys!

You have to do what's in your heart... Not what one tells you to do. I understand you're confused and very stressed. I wish I could ease your mind, but I can't.

What does your bf think of all this?

Do you think that I can have both of your e-mail addresses so I can talk more about it with you?
