I am trying for my first baby since my
miscarriage last year in oct. I have
irregular mensus (6 weeks cycle) after my
marriage (about 2 years now). My last
mensus was 28 july 2005. Last monday, 29
august 2005 I started having spots. After
3 days, it was a light bleeding. Then
about four days after that I had spots
till 8 september 2005.
I tested urine at the doc's place for
pregnancy on the 6 september and it was
negative. Doc gave me medicines to jump
start my mensus. So that I can have a
proper period. But I feel I am pregnant.
I dunno whether to continue folic acid or
to take the medicine to make my period
come.
What do u think I should do. Since I am
in the obese category, doc told me to
loose some weight saying that my weight
could be the cause I am not conceiving at
all.
I have started out some low impact
exercises since I have not been exercising
at all. I really want a baby to fill up
and make a family soon. My husband is
also eager to have a complete family.
What shall I do? Is there anyway to
conceive easily or could I be having a
baby right now?
I am really confused and worried. Need
advice and suggestions!

They tried the shot to make me bleed on my
last pregnancy--20 years ago. But I knew
I was preg--got a pelvic and urine test.
No not pregnant, 2 weeks later I come back
oh yeah your 7 weeks pregnant. I say
what the shot do to my baby?? He said
just make cervix stronger--i never did
bleed though. I would wait until at
least 3 weeks passed the missed period to
make a definative decission on if you are
or not. I wouldnt take the meds--what it
gonna hurt not to bleed--nothing. So I
would just wait.

Continue to take your folic and retest on
19 or after and you should get a pos.
Maybe between 19and 26 since you spotted
until the 8th. Could have been
implantation spotting. I never had it
but most these girls do. Or they have
really funny unexpected "periods" then
end up they are pregnant. I have been
preg 10 times and this one pregnancyy I
had a full blown cramping period and didnt
know I was that far along until u/s

Yes, I think I will wait. It's not going
to hurt or cost me anything. But if the
wait is worthy I would be jumping in joy.
Thanks for the support and advice. I will
wait till 19 and do a re-test, then I
should be convinced enough to take the
doc's medicine to jump start the period.
