If hes old enough to make sperm, baby will be fine im sure--he's not that old. I dont even know if the mans age makes a difference for birth defects--i think its mostly the women. Unless he's a heavy hard drug user

this is just my opinion no medical knowlege on this at all

I just read that the quality and viability of a mans sperm decreases slowly after age 35 aswell as a womans capability to become pregnant does after 35. But seing as men can make women pregnant till - well theyre very old - I don't think it should be a problem :)
i'm sure your baby - if you're preggers - will be fine. :d

he isn't exactly old! ;) besides I think that if he does get you pregnant its not as much about his sperm as it is about the genes of both of you and how you treat your body while being preggers.

Well they can do scans later in the pregnancy to test if the baby has all organs it needs to have and whether the skin in the neck is folded or not.

I think this neck thing is about downs syndrome, not sure tho.

But if you're both healthy, why worry? :p

been having pains all night
lots of wind and gas....

The blood preg test shows I think within 10 days to 2 weeks. So right around your period or a little before. That is what I believe. Someone said they have test to show in 1 day--but dont use that one too often.

Good luck--some of the urine tests would show by now, but if like me and my daughter wont show til 3 weeks after missed period.

Hehe... Never had a bloodtest done. But I don't think its that horrible. :wink:

No age does not matter really for the man. Look at michael douglas or larry king. And blood tests aren't so bad and if you're pregnant you'll be having them a lot. Good luck!
