Sperm Effectiveness Posted: 09-12-05 01:44am
Ok so I think i'm asking the right
question. I heard before that it takes 36
hours before sperm is effective enough to
make a girl pregnant. Is this true or
not? Any truth to it?

Like, 36 hours after it's been inside of
her body? It does take a long time for
the sperm to swim up inside of her uterus
and up the fallopian tube to meet up with
the egg, and that may well take 36 hours.
But that's not changing the
"effectiveness" of the spem; that just
happens to be when it finally reaches the
egg and can fertilize it.

What I mean is after the semen has come
out, how long does it before its good
enough to make a girl pregnant on the next
time you have sex? Or if you jerk off
before you have sex, does that do any sort
of birth control?

No, jerking off before hand will not lower
the effectiveness of your sperm, and it's
definately not a form of birth control!!
The next time you orgasm, the same general
amount of semen comes out, right? Well,
the little sperm cells swimming around in
it now are just as effectve as the ones
were in the load that landed in your
hand.
If you have sex, each time you do it, your
girl has the same chance of becoming
pregnant. Semen is always potent, from
the moment it exits your body.
