Where Oh Where Did My Little Period Go?
Posted: 11-30-03 20:46pm

Rolling Eyes ok, I hadn't had a period in eight months when I got pregnant with my daughter. I had her normal. She is healthy. I bled the regular 4-6 weeks after giving birth, and then.... Question where did it go?

I stopped breastfeeding almost two months ago and still no real sign of a normal period. I have, however; had enough discharge to have to wear a maxi pad everyday for 14 months. Last week I had some blood in the discharge, but still nothing compared to a real live period!

This discharge isn't discolored or really foul smelling, it's like the discharge during sex, only, it's all the time!
What in the world is wrong with me? Also, I have had some pain in my uterus and it hurts to lie on my stomach, it feels like I have an orange in my uterus when I lay on my stomach only im not pregnant. I haven't gone
to the doctor yet because I have no insurance. Can you please tell me what is wrong?

Thanks

Hi, its so weird that I read your post. My mother & I were just discussing this the other day. She told me that when I was born she bled for the normal 4-6 weeks but then didn't get a period for like 6 months. She went to the doctor & they had to do an dnc to clean her out. After that, she got her period again. That could be a possbility...
