Pains Is This Normal??
Posted: 09-12-05 19:49pm

Well im 34 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 weeks ive been having vagina pains. My muscles and bones hurt in my vagina like the are so sore . Is this normal or is this something I should worry about? And the pain is basically almost non stop all day long. And sometimes it hurt so much that I cant even walk normally.

Oh yeah that is normal. That might mean that you are dilating. That is when started dilating was when I was 29wks and now I am doing it again. And I am 36wks pregnant.

Your having pelvic congestion, its caused by the baby pushing down on the pelvic muscles.Try taking a relaxing bath or lying down on your side.

You can have your baby at 36 weeks and it considered being on time.. 36-42 weeks is normal to have a baby, I had my last one on the day of 36 weeks at 12:28 am. One day from being considered a premie.
As for the pain lay on your side and have you hubby/ bf do a very gental massage on your lower back. That might relive it for a little. Also make a date type thing out of it light some of your favorite sented candles lite, and some soothing sounds and have him rub your back that should relax you consderabley ( prego or not). Plus it lets him know hes helping when he feels helpless over your pain....

I just wanted to tell everyone that yesterday I went to the Dr. And I told her about the pains ive been having in my vagina. And she checked me down there and said that I have a thinning cervix. And I was like whats that? And she said that basically the baby is further down then hes supposed to be. And she told me for the rest of my preg to try to stay off my feet. No shopping, no cleaning nothing. So thats what my pains were!

Ahh that bites just hope that you are far enough that if it continues to thin ( which means your getting ready to have baby) you'll lose your plug then comes labor... So do take it easy... 2 weeks early isn't bad but it would be best if you could hold him/her in for 2 more weeks. Then at that point it would be safe to have baby and no worries about premie.. Good luck and congrats. Glad its not overyly serious. Stop stressing and be glad this didn't happen back at 20 weeks or sooner they give you a cerix ring and those things hurt.....

Lol pocketangel. I was happy that she said I couldnt clean. But im going nuts cause my house is a mess right now and I cant get up and clean. I gotta wait till hubby get home so he can clean.

Yeah im a little worried but im not that much since I am 34 and a half weeks. But its still scary to know. And like today my back is aching and my legs are aching and just today isnt a good day for my body. But I am sure glad that it didnt happen way earlier cause then id for sure be freaken out.
