I have been on the pill for 4 years now.
Up until a few months ago my period was
very normal. It came every wednesday
morning right at the same time. Then,
back in june I had surgery and that kind
of threw my body out of whack! My period
came on thursday, but lasted like my
normal 3-5 days. Well, in the end to
beginning of july, I missed a pill for the
first time in my life! When I did this,
my period started a week early, and lasted
for a full week. My period just this last
month in august was perfectly normal. It
came wednesday morning, so I was happy
because my body was going back to normal!
My period for this month, however, not the
case!! My period came on a friday, which
is two days late for my cycle, and only
lasted a day and a half! This is totally
not me! Then, I was thinking, as to what
did I do? I didn't miss any pills at all.
When I got to thinking, on august 12, to
be exact, I had to start antibiotics for a
sinus infection. I know antibiotics can
mess the pill up, so we used extreme
caution. I did have a concern though,
becuase my fiance' and I had sex it seems
like. I think we had sex within that
week, like on a monday or tuesday, and
august 12 was a friday. I know sperm can
live up to a week in the body, so I am not
wondering if this is what caused things to
get messed up!
The thing is, I know the pill is 99%
effective if used correctly, but for my
body, this last period was weired. I
don't want to sound to gross, but it was
really dark, and light pink. I don't
think I would classify it as a period. It
wasn't heavy at all! I mean half of the
time, I didn't even wear a tampon!!
I would be so happy if I was pregnant, but
fiance' is getting ready to go through law
school, and he just wants to make sure our
finances are in order. I know he is just
trying to be responsible.
I took a test yesterday after lunch, and
it came back negative, so I don't know if
it is still too early. And see yesterday
was the 12, and remember a month ago
yesterday is when I went on the
antibiotic. I don't know if that has
anything to do with it or not.
What do you guys think? Does my last
period sound like I could be pregnant? I
would be so excited!!

It is possible--since you are on the pill
mayybe you should go to dr soon and get a
blood test it shows up faster and is much
more accurate. We wouldnt want to take
the pill any longer than you have to if
your are pregnant.

Well, I took another test on friday
morning, and it was negative :( .
Anyway, I have been having lower back
pain. I don't know if it is just
coincidental that I am having that or not!
It is really strange. Who knows, I may
just need a new mattress! Lol! Did
anyone on here experience lower back pain
this early? I am just curious? I am not
under any stress, so I know it is not that
my muscles are tense, it is just in my
lower and sometimes middle back. This all
started happening last week. Not sure,
again!! Please help, I don't go to my
doctor until the first of this next month.

Well, I just keep feeling nausious after I
eat. It just feels like anything I eat,
sits in my throat, then I get a waive of
nausea that comes over me! I just hope I
can figure out what is going on!
Fatfamily, I know that you and your
daughter couldn't get the urine tests to
come out positive until a couple of months
passed. If I am pregnant, maybe I am like
you guys! I just want to get this blood
test done, so I know for sure. I would be
so happy if I was :) .

Well, in the meantime, I have taken
another hpt, and it came out negative. I
took it mid afternoon yesterday! The
weired thing is, I just feel so different.
Everything from my eating habits, to my
attitude---my poor fiance' gets the raw
end of the deal on my mood swings! Poor
thing! Anyway, he has noticed how my
moods have been incredibly different. I
too, have noticed. One minute I will be
mad and yelling at him over not putting up
his dirty dishes, then the next thing I
know I am crying, and then want to go have
sex!! I don't know it is so crazy!
Last night after I ate spaghetti, I went
and sat down, and got a huge waive of
nausia over me that would come and go for
about 30 minutes, I had to take a tums to
help! I have never had that problem up
until a few weeks ago! I just feel
bloated all of the time!
I am seriously at my witts end! I hate
having to wait to get into the doctor, I
don't know what I am going to do!! Does
anyone have any advice? I still have one
hpt left.
