Can Someone Inform Me On Bulimia? Posted: 09-13-05 14:55pm
My g/f has been suffering from tight
stomach pains. Is that a side effect of
her making herself throwing up? Her
doctor said that the pain was coming from
her ovary region. Does this tight pain
have to do with her being bulimic?

Well do you know for a fact that she is
bulimic or not. But it could be many
things like a cyst on her ovary or
something though cause I haven't had any
tight pains in my stoach though and I have
had bulimia for like a year in a half so
if she is I don't think it is but
maybe..... Sorry I don't hink I answered
you question that well though

There could be a few things that are
causing her to have pains in her stomach
and its almost defiantly from making
herself sick. She can cause alot of
damage by throwing up and not just with
her stomach. It could be an ulcer which
is common with people who make themselves
sick.
Have you asked her to get help, like see a
therapist or something because its not a
nice thing to have to live with and it
does affect relationships. People who
suffer from eating disorders can become
issolated because they can become to
controlled by their ed that they begin to
push people away. That can be for a
number of reasons and doesn't really have
anything to do with the relationship its
just there way of coping and not hurting
people.
I am not suprised that she is having pains
and i'm sure in time she could have alot
more health issues as a result of making
herself sick. It can affect almost every
part of your body with time and so some
people it can happen very quickly.
I hope that she is ok but if you have any
worries or want to ask anything please
don't hesatite to write to me and i'll do
my best to answer any questions.

It could be a result of the ed. I
suffered for many years with the ed, and
am finally in a solid place in recover,
and sadly, have longterm side effects.
Stomach problems. I would encourage you
to go a doctor who knows about the medical
complications that ed's can cause. Also,
to go to a doctor with whom you both feel
comfortable, so that your g/f would feel
comfortable enough talking about ed etc.
