Evaporation Lines

I guess the line would depend on the test. Some have 1 line others have 2. Others have - and others +. But if yours is only suppose to have one line then yep grats!!! I don't think color really matters at that point. Most of mine were pink... Then again heres a good question does it turn blue if its a boy and pink if its a girl hehe... Just some insight... :lol:

Ha ha, yeh that will be something that will be around in about 20 years or something.. Sorry, I didn't make I myself clear. It was a clear blue test and after the ten minute mark it had a second line. Like a minus for negative and a plus for positive. So its a + sign but the second line didn't come until after 10 minutes. The line is blue and not discoloured and its easy to see! Its thinner than the other line that goin across but that shouldn't make a diffrence, right.

Although I did a fr test on thursday last and it had a very faint faint second line.

Actually it does make a difference sometimes my first test was like that my 2 came out clear as day 3 days later.

So more then likely you could be it just a bit early for the test to work right the hpt isn't very promanet yet... Give it a few days and try again... If you still can't tel get a different test and see that way...

I had been wondering if I was pregnant or not, I took 2+ tests and then 2 days later 4 - tests. I had read alot of situations where someone got a - test and still was preg. So after a week of reading everyones posts I was really beginning to wonder if I was pregnant or not. I became a peestick junkie and took test every day. They started to come up with a faint positive right at or shortly after the time limit so I was curious if it was an evaporation line, although pink I wasn't sure. I had my boyfriend take a test too. We both took one aimstick pbd and a new choice from dollar tree. My positives came up right at the time limit and very faintly, absolutely nothing came up on his, however on the dollar tree one hours later there was an evaporation line which was blotchy and not pink but could have mistaken for a positive if you aren't sure, the aimstick pbd still 2 days later does not have any sign of an evaporation line. I have taken a test every day since and they have come back positive within 2 minutes so i'm pretty sure I am pregnant! I would recommend the aimstick pbd, easy to read and no evap line. I'd say any line no matter how faint as long as it is close to the time limit even shortly after is a pregnant!!

Ok so the + test I got did have a faint pink line. The next day it was -, then I found out I hadn't even surged yet nor ovualted. So my husband and I made love the two days I was to be furtile and I have waited to take any tests. I took the + test on 9-6 and got a - on 9-7, its now the 19th and I got 2 - tests. So if there is color it means + then what went wrong with mine? Help please!! Oh and I have been spotting and cramping slightly since the 12th, 4 days past ovualtion. Today I have alot of pinching in what feels like my right ovary and I am edgy and b*%#hy!! I feel like I am pmsing. My period is due on the 22 or 23rd. Help!! :cry:

I'd wait until you miss your period to even test... Your going to stress about it when it may be too soon to test anyways. My tests didn't show positive until last week which was 2 weeks after my missed period. Not sure why the one said pos then neg but thats what mine did I just kept testing and now they all are pos. I had convinced myself after 2+ and 4- that I was not preg. But I am. Either way i'd just wait until you miss a period to test.

Omg I sound horrible!!!! I am planning on waiting until this saturday to test again if my period dosen't start. That would make it 1-2 days late. I am by nature an impatient person, so this whole waiting thing is really hard!! But my god the pinching I have today is painful!! Thank you so much for you advise. After I had taken the tests that came back neg. I just had a feeling I was actually preg. So I just kept taking tests after about 5 days, then they started coming back pos. So I know the waiting is hard. Patience is the hardest thing to have when waiting to find out a life changing situation. I would recommend using an aimstick pbd they seem to be the best for me as far as accurate and no confusion.. No evap lines. The dollar tree ones are ok too but do have evap lines!!

Ya but its been over 10 days since my false +. Sometimes I feel like I am preggo but then I have to put myself into check and realize its not going to be that easy. My husband has a low count that just started after his reversal in january and we have only tried (since him getting a count) for one month. When I remember all that I know I just can't be. The odds are to great agains me to be preggo after only one month. I know it only takes one. But the symptoms I have been having can easily be odd pms due to stress. I need to get over it for this month!! Lol

If its been 10 days i'd for sure take the test... Did you say you already missed your period?? Well my boyfriend and I haven't been together long in fact only about 2 months and he thought he couldn't have kids at all since he tried with his ex for about 8mths and nothing.. Well low and behold here comes fertile mertile and i'm preg after not even trying for a couple weeks. Low count doesn't mean it isn't possible the first month. Af was due 9-5 took my first test on 9-8 + on 9-10 I took 4 more that were - very -... Still felt preg but convinced myself that 4 test wouldn't lie... Finally on 9-16 I took 2 more that were very very faint + and didn't show until the max of 10 mins one didn't even show till 12 mins so being beyond the time limit I wasn't sure to believe them but I do believe a pos is pos no matter how faint. I took another the next am same thing.. I had him take 2 diff tests on 9-17 also and the both came back - completely neg and stayed.. The one did show an evap line though...I'd take a test every 2-3 days until your period comes or a for sure + comes. Or go to the doc. My + come up fast now and darker... I am about 6 weeks - by this time my hcg should be high so I was initially worried that something was wrong ie: ectopic since my lines were so faint and took so long but they seem normal now.. I don't have an apt until oct. 10.

I just don't know. I think I had a evap line even though it was pink. Also I have been searching the net and can't find any implantaion bleeding lasting 8 days. I just don't get it. I guess I have no other option then to wait untill I miss my cycle or get it. I wish I could just go get an ultrasound or something. Lol. I thank you so much for the info. If I would of gotten more then one faint + I would believe it but it has like I said been over 10 days and I am still getting big fat --. :(

lisaboo I think we are both in the same boat. I am afraid to take another test to be let down. As I got 2 faint faint positive about 2 weeks ago and then I took a clear blue a week ago and that came up faint but after the 10 minute mark, which is blue and clear to the eye.

Kcmm3, do u still think there is a chance that the clear blue was a evap line? The fr was a faint line but disapeatred after 30 minutes. Some days I feel pregnant and then others i'm like no. I know another test is in order but its costly and frustrating for these to be allowed to get away with giving out bad results. They must know for sure that alot of them are innnacurate! So why would they research them when all we do is purchase them one after another for there mistake!!!!!

I totally agree with the inacuracy of these tests! However sadey, as you already know, I think your preggo. I am in the "i don't care anymore, whatever is whatever!" hey that kinda sounds moody huh?! Pms? Af? That *itch!!

how long have u been ttc hun. Well I know exactly what ur'e saying about been moody! I love goin on these boards and getting info but sometimes I spend the whole day looking for every possible solution and it really puts me in bad mood when I can't find it!

I was really depressed last week, like numb from not knowing what is goin on. So know I have taken a different approach to life. It will happen when it happens. I honestly thought that I would be 5 months pregnant at xmas, thinking oh this will happen and all.

Well we decided to do a vasectomy reversal in january. That was january 14th. We kept doing sperm counts for like the first 3 months after surgery and it kept coming back "none seen" but we kinda kept trying just in case there was that one ya know :). So we quit testing for like 4 months and just tested again on aug. 22nd and it came back 11 million/ml which is low concidering a normal is 50-60 million/ml. So we tryed this month really hard and I have had the longest, weirdest month since I don't know when lol. But now my spotting is on day 9 and the last 2 days it has been more like a dark red and (sorry for details) kinda pasty. Then it goes away by about noon. I called my doc yesterday and she said to wait it out and see if its just a weird thing. I am sooooo irritable today!! And tired. Thats what makes me think af is coming. This is how I get a few days before the witch gets here.

how are u? I know u are due to test soon! Have u had any symproms lately. Really curious to how u are getting on. Well I was on my way to get a test last nite and my bf got a call to say that his nanny had passed away! God bless her...... So I am still not too sure what is happening with my body. We were waiting along time in the hospiatl and standing all night and my back was absolutley aching!!!!

Last 2 days i've had dirrarhea and my bum and back were aching that it was hard to walk. I haven't been doing anything difrent at all to make me ache like this. Maybe its a gug or something or a bean???

oh thanx for the reply! She was lovely person and I have been through this many times but my bf just broke down. She practally lived with them when he was younger. Its just his father is away on holidays and he's blaming himself for not being there, so my bf feels for him.

Hopefully something will happen shortly. Its only been a couple of weeks of ttc and I really feel for those who have been trying for years. We really don't think about those that can't concieve. Its a hard and emotional rollercoaster.
