I'm scheduled for a hida scan next week.
I've had nausea which seems worse until I
eat something. The pain also seems worse
before I eat lately, although I do have
"attacks" of abdomen to back pain after
certain foods. Does this sound like
gallbladder??? If it's not the
gallbladder will whatever else show up
with the hida scan? Thanks. Deb

Hi deb.. Have they checked you for gerd??
(gastric reflux)... I had my gb out
almost 7 months ago... Had severe
nausea... And terrible pain after
eating... Near the surgery everything
hurt and made me nauseous... After the
surg.. I could eat but was told to stay
on nexium cause the gastro doc found lots
of inflammation with my endoscopy... Two
weeks ago I tried stopping the nex...
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh bad idea!!! I started
having some of my old symptoms back...
Pain in my sternum area through to my
back... Nausea... Burning in my
throat... Went back on the nex and i'm
back to feeling way better than before the
gb surg....
I tried all the ppi's... None work except
the lil purple pill nexium... Protonix
made me sicker than a dog... Ughhhh bad
nausea/dizzy/pain...
Have you had an endoscopy??? Make sure
this isn't gerd... I swear mine was gerd
that made my gb go wonky....
