Ok here is the deal. I have a rash on my
penis below the head. It looks like
ringworm in the way that it has really
defined edges and clear in the center. It
dont really hurt but it gets irritated
very easily. It also looks like little
bumps. It sometimes gets really dry and
scaly like on the edge line. The edges
are a little raised but not too bad. I
went to the doctor and they said it was a
fungal infection and prescribed me
ketaconozole, I applied this like they
said for like 2 months and it looked as if
it was going away but then it stopped in
progress. I went back and was prescribed
lamasil tablets which I have taken for
three months, again it looked as if it
were disappearing but has again stopped in
progression and still there. I am stumped
on what to do next I have had all std test
run and they have all came up negative,
have had them run probably like three
times and are always negative. I am
stumped now on what to do cause it seems
like the doctors know nothing of what it
is. Any help on this matter what be
greatly appreciated.

You can try using hydrogen peroxide on it
daily to help kill any bacteria in the
area. Bacteria would slow the healing
down considerably, allowing for
reinfection. It is cheap, too. You can
try pouring the peroxide into a glass and
soaking your penis in it for 5 - 10
minutes, or you can use a soaked cotton
ball several times a day. If the peroxide
burns too much you can dilute it a bit.
When you clean, though, make sure you get
the entire genital area, not just that one
irritated spot.
