:( :( hi I just really need someone to talk to. Has anyone suffered from antenatal depression? I think I am. I just feel real sad all the time and lay in bed all day if I have the chance. I have just started a job which was supposed to be 3 days a wk but now it is 6. Im worried that working that much will hurt the baby cos I only recently miscarried and it was at 9wks. I dont feel as though I can talk to anyone because everyone I know is so excited and give me hell if I say anything negative about bein preg. Im just real scared and sad and need some advice.

Do Something Every Day For You And/or the Baby!!!
Leah--havent seen ya in a little while. Congrats on being pregnant. It will be okay. You just need to try a little at a time to get up and do something for yourself or the baby and it will get better. One baby step at a time. Being tired is normal so some of it may just be the pregnancy itself and have nothing to do with the depression. Crying off and on is also normal. It may have to do with the previous miscarriage for you too though. And that is okay too. It will be okay. This will pass. If your tired sleep it off. But when awake I suggest just one thing at a time do something for you, and or the baby.==1 accomplishment, then next day same thing and before you know it you wil be up and about and forgetting what we are even talking about. Maybe a journal would help, but try to avoid writing anything negative about the preg. Dwell on all the positive things you have going and all the little things you are doing for yourself and for the baby. This worked for me to bring me out of a bad state of depression.

I am sorry you are feeling this way but this to will pass.

Love

mama

Leah, it's normal. I was a time bomb of moods when I was pregnant especially in the begining and the end and then after trey was born too. It's perfectly normal. Try not to stress too much. Iknow it's easier said than done but you have to do what is good for you and your baby.

Good luck

I miscarried at 7 weeks and got pregnant again a month later. I grieved, but these things just happen..You have to accept it. I am now 33 weeks pregnant and this whole pregnancy has been nerve wrecking. Every cramp or uncomfortable symptom scares me, but im hoping for the best. Im sorry to hear about your situation. The only thing that helped me through my miscarriage was knowing that I can concieve in the first place. Good luck and best wishes!

I feel for you
I had a similar situation. I miscarried at 8 weeks but at 5 felt that something was wrong. Three months later just 2 wks ago I miscarried at 6wks. I had just started a new job that was suppose to be 3 day a week but is actually 6 days. I am a med nurse and I am on my feet 8 hrs a night. I thought that maybe the stress of a new job and the physical requiraments may have been why I miscarried. I am now trying to get pregnant again without a break. I have faith that when God feels the time is right he will give me and my older husband a child. He has no children. I have three teenagers. This is my 7th miscarriage. Keep faith it will work out .
