Yeah I never caught that either. So did you go to the er? I know how hard it can be to not want to tell your mom that your pregnant. But please dont make the mistake I did and not tell then lose the baby and then you get a really bad infection that may cause you never to be able to have kids. But thank god I did conceve again and am due in two weeks.

Please let us know were worried about you and we will be here for you.

Trial Run
Posted: 09-24-05 21:57pm

It's not unusual for a first pregnancy to end in miscarriage- in fact, it's most likely to be the first one- your body will sometimes do a trial run at pregnancy, especially if you are young. It wouldn't have been because of anything you did, and it doesn't mean it will evr happen again.
Most women never even know about it, they just think they are having a heavier than usual period, or are a little bit late. If you hadn't taken the test on that day, you would never have even known.

Talk to your mum about it. She's probably not so much mad at you, but has just had a big fright herself - her baby was pregnant !!!! Use this as an opportunity to get closer to your mum, so you guys can talk about this kind of stuff in future. It could end up being a good thing for both of you.
Having a mum you can ask for advise is way better than coming to a forum like this, and waiting for replies etc. Don't you think?

Take care of yourself.

Sometimes your body is trying to tell you, that physically, you just aren't ready to have a baby-- yes, you have your period, yes you're technically a woman-- but everyones body is different. It poses serious health risks to become pregnant within one year of having a miscarriage, so please protect yourself now. Get the pill, use protection for yourself and your partner. Best of luck.

I wen to see the doc because I thought I was having an irregular period. I had been bleeding for three weeks at that time. From spotting, to moderate, to heavy bleeding with bloodclots. They asked me for an urine sample and it turned out that I was pregnant. So I went to see another doctor (since the first one was very inconsiderate and when I asked him well how could it be if I am bleeding all he said was "well you could be having a miscarriage for all I know " and then he said "well my job is done, that's why you are bleeding")
so when I went to see the other doctor he sent me to get an ultrasound and it turned out that my baby was still in there and he had a regular beating heart.

Later that day I had more bleeding so I went to the er and they took blood samples and kept me there for a while. The next day I had more bleeding but it was until the following day when I had such heavy bleeding that that I went back to the er.

They kept me there overnight and took more blood samples and took another ultrasound. The next day I had another ultrasound and the baby was still in there.

They told me I had implantation bleeding and since the second week of august until now almost the end of september, I have been bleeding with the exception of today and yesterday I only had one little drop.

I am still scared though because I have had cramps the whole time and I have been feeling them a lot more today.
