'down-there' Pain
Posted: 09-20-05 08:54am

This is my 2nd pregnancy and i'm about 5 months through..... Lately whenever I move around or get up i've been feeling pain 'down there' extremely similar to the pain I had during my postpardum time after I had my son. Sometimes it goes into my belly too.

I mentioned it to my doctor but he blew me off (yes I know, time for a new ob!)

any suggestions on how to ease it or ideas on what may be causing it?

It could be braxton hicks contractions already.

Drink alot of water if your having the hics already. Sometimes thats a way of your body telling you your getting dehidrated.
They say to drink about 8 8oz glasses a day sometimes more. I got those alot when I was pg. If the pain becomes too much do call the hospital and ask them what they think you should do. They help a bit too.
But if your doc is ignoring it yes you should get a new one.

i had the same thing with my third and my doc did the same thing. Just wondering, what did your first baby weigh at birth? My first was 8.11 second was 8.15 and with my third I felt that awful pain early on that isn't suppose to be there until the last few weeks and she was 10.4 . Not trying to scare you or anything. I had all mine vaginally with no cuts or rips so it is possable.
