I waited 12 hours before I called my doctor about what was going on he told me to go to the hospital immediatly. If you are noticing dampness I would call and ask what your doc thinks cause the baby could have. Yes it is rare that they kick holes in areas where it slowly leaks but it does happen and with babys its better to be safe then sorry.

Its ok. I read it wrong. My fault there but yes its rare for a baby to pop your water where it just leaks. As for spotting a bit yes its normal as long as its not heavy. But your fluid is kinda pinkish. Sorry brain is going been trying to get house clean all day and kids driving me crazy... (home sick today)

Its a girl brionna ann. I cant wait. I hope its sooner rather than later. I cry every time I feel her I want to hold my baby so bad. Can ya tell I am a little deppressed. Its so hard not having her here yet but I know that it is what is best for her so I am waiting not so patiently but waiting.

So is there anything I can do to help progress things?

Really other then sex, walking and all theres not much more you can do to get your baby to come sooner. Well there is kinda but not 100 % if it works or not I tried it once the day before my doc was going to enduce my first. Take a very warm towel and place it on your belly. This is sopose to help your bag get thiner and everything. But I was already to deliver and all my baby was down there for 2 weeks and I was 4 cm dialated. But its something you can try...

It takes a while but when I got up after having it on my belly, I had to go potty. My water broke and I was on my way. 4 1/2 hours later jassy was here. But like I said I was already ready to have her but wasn't progressing

Wow ok I will try that. My hubby dosnt want to have sex cause he is afread he will hurt me or the baby. So I guess that the warm towel will be the only thing that I can try. I hope this works. I ll let you know.

Good luck I know my freind suggested that to me cause it was her bday and also my babys due date per my doctor. But it was a wet warm towel not one out of the dryer. And as warm as you can stand it... Take care and good luck I hope it works like I said it could have been luck on my behalf...

I just read all your post so bare with me here, one I lost my mucus plug the day my son was born. 9 hours late my water broke 18 hours after that he was born. You say your back hurts and your lower stomach and it was just this mornign? My back hurt the day my son was born, and had alot of pressure in my lower stomach and nothing helped with the pain either. I would call your doctor and let them know what you are experiancing thismorning. Babies eith come 2 weeks early or late.... Its when they are ready. Call them even though you are not due until oct. They might tell you to come in. You could just be experiancing braxtin hicks.

Pain
Posted: 09-21-05 09:55am

I have been experincing the back pain for a week now. The pressure comes and goes to. It has been going on for about three weeks. Some days it is worse then others. My dr said that its just my contractions. I have an app on friday. So hopefully I will find out what is going on then. I have been doing alot of reading today and I think that I am probably just dilating more and that is what is going on. Other than a busting headack everything is the same. I think I am just worrying and prob need to just chill out. :?

Hey hun, this is not what you want to hear, but with my first child I was in the first stages of labor for three almost four weeks. I had the back pain and the abdominal cramps, ect. I was at the hospital 5 out of 7 days every week. Finally my doctor prescribed a prescription sleeping pill and a warm bath. I left the hospital at 7am that morning and took a warm bath and the sleeping pill at around 10am and at 2:30 that afternoon my water broke. Please do not go out and buy over the counter sleeping pills, this was prescribed by my doc. The reasoning behind some docs for prescribing the sleeping pills is that with the first pregnancy and sometimes with later pregnancies, the mother is so worked up and tense about the new arrival that she never really relaxes enough for the body to do what it neeeds to do to start active labor. I would discuss this with your doc and see what he or she has to say. I wish you all of the luck in the world and just try to relax.... I know it is hard but your lil one will be here soon enough. Good luck and you are in my thoughts. I know your frustrations and exactally what you are going through.

This Helps

Thank you so much for the encouragment. Yeah I have been dilated for about a month now just recintly dilated a finger tip more. I was funny I went from finger tip to cm to 2 all in three weeks and last week which makes four I was dilated 2 and fingertip. So maybe either this week or next we will get the ball rolling. My dr says my body definltly wants to have the baby it just she is not ready and so I am waiting on her to decide when she wants to come.

Yeah they had to give me the same thing. I am still not getting enough sleep though ever since last week when they thought I was going to have her I havent been the same I am trying to get everything done. So I am really tired but then I cant sleep. Crazy I know.

Just please keep us in your prayers. Thank you again

Pink

Is it definatly blood, or fluid with a pinky tinge?

Was it very pink, or just pinkish? Because.....

It could be amniotic fluid. That has a pinkish tinge, and it doesn't always come out in a big gush- sometimes, it just trickles. Does it have a sweetish smell, or smell a bit bit like semen?

Call them again- this could be the day !!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck.

I havent noticed alot of it today. I am leaking the thick white discharge. I really think it is where I was dilating more. That is all. I am not worried now cause everything eles seems to be pretty normal. I just hope I am right. I did call and they said that if I didnt leak alot enough to soke up a pad not to come in. So I havent.
