Hi I recently started taking yasmine like
the sunday before last. I took it for two
days and then I missed a pill and I
started bleeding. I heard that you are
suppose to take two the following day.
But I got scared because I was bleeding
and just stopped taking them all together.
Throughout this time I have been sexual
active without protection. Could I get
pregnant since I did take 2 pills? Or am
I okay? I'm just confused???

You can always get pregnant if you don't
use protection. Go see your doctor and
find out what to do know, he'll prolly
want to wait to make sure you are not
pregnant before getting you to restart
them. Need to be on pills at least 7
days to put ovaries "to sleep". Even
then, missing any can be an issue. If
you ever miss any, take it as soon as you
remember...If it's the next day, take 2 at
once. And use condoms to be sure. You
should be using condoms anyway....1 in 5
has chlamydia, 1 in 4 has herpes and it's
even higher for the virus that causes
genital warts and cervical cancer! Take
care of yourself!!
