I dont take pills usually... And recently
me n my bf have been having unprotected
sex... Im not relle worrried bout std..
Coz im his first and I know im ok... But
im worried tht I cud get pregnant ! My
period is due in 10 days.. And I know its
risky having sex during tht 10days..(wich
I did..fool me).. Im not familiar on how
to take pills.. And wen to take thn..
And their side effects... Can anyone help
me out with tht plz?

You need to evaluate your life and the
idea of bringing another life into the
world. If your having sex be responsible
enough to take percautions. The pill does
have side effects just like any other type
of medication. There are other types over
birth control that are over the counter
that you and your partner can enjoy. Good

My best advice to you is schedule yourself
an appointment with a doctor or even go to
planned parenthood. They will give you
all of the info that you need how to take
your pills or even use another type of bc.
I was on my pill for ten years and sure
I had a few side effects starting off, but
they went away and I took charge of my
body and my life because I did not want to
bring another life into this world being
that I was not ready. If the pills are
not for you, there are many options out
there to prevent preganacy from occuring-
just be smart with your life and your
body-best of luck

first off, it's too soon to buy a test to
see if you are pregnant yet; you need to
wait until at least a week before the
missed period, although ept may work up to
2 weeks before. However, your first
priority is finding out if you're pregnant
or not. You could try taking a morning
after pill (whichever variety is
available) but there is no guarentee it is
going to work. Find out if you're
pregnant!
Then, if you're not, get yourself on the
pill, the patch, the shot, whatevr is best
for you.
If you are pregnant... Well then you have
some touch choices to make. But first,
you have to find out. Unprotected sex,
and the time during which you've had sex,
equals a good chance of being pregnant.

We had sex bout 5 days ago now... And
from 10pm till 4 am ! We dont like using
condoms... And I relle dont wanna take
pills.. Coz im too scared... Dunno how
to use em ! Etc etc... And im relle not
ready to have a baby ! Its not even an
options for us !

Chick, the pills are not scary: abortions,
adoptions, and babies are scary!!!!!!
The pills are not hard to take, and I
myself have [i]never/i] had any reaction
to them at all.

You need to see a doctor to get a
prescription for birth control pills.
There's a small range that are most often
prescribed to start, which most women will
tolerate well, and he/she will try you on
one of those to see how you get on with
them.
How the pills work is by keep your body
from ovulating -- i.E. Producing eggs.
They do this by fooling your body into
thinking it is already pregnant, using a
synthetic version of a particular hormone.
When women are pregnant, they stop
producing more eggs.
Taking the pills is easy: you take 21
pills, at about the same time every day.
Then you either take the placebo pill, or
none at at, for 7 days, during which time
you would have a period -- this is not a
real period, since you didn't ovulate, and
is usually lighter than when you are not
on the pill.
