Help!!!
Posted: 12-02-03 11:30am

I have not been sexually active in almost a year, but four months ago I messed around with a close friend and his penis grazed the top of my vagina. We did not have intercourse, it was simply an accident, and like I said, his penis never went in my vagina, only barely touched the top of my outer lips. He had not ejaculated at that point and neither of us was worried. I received three periods after this incident, however I never got my period last month. I wasn't too worried because I had just gone off the pill after having taken it for two years and I was told that not getting your period sometimes happens after being on the pill for such a long period of time. My question for you is, is it possible i'm pregnant? I gained a few pounds these past few months, however I also had come back to school and was partying quite a bit. I've since lost a little of the weight. I never had morning sickness or anything such as that, and if it weren't for missing my period last month, I wouldn't be worried. I was on the pill at the time this incident happened, but I wasn't taking it as well as I should have. Is it likely that i'm pregnant?

Hi mzoo,

you have absolutely no need to worry, you are not pregnant. Like you said there was no intercourse, you were on the pill, and you have had 3 periods after the incident. Whoever told you the pill is the cause of you missing a period is right. The pill has been regulating your period for 2 years and now all of a sudden there is nothing to regulate it. So now your body has to get used to doing this by itself. It could even take a few months before your period is regular again. As for the weight gain, partying will do it every time. Junk food and alcohol are major contributors to obesity in america and australia. If you look at other countries like japan where the staple diet is rice and noodle based foods, they don't have a major problem with obesity, and they live very long lives. Some of the oldest people in the world live in japan.
