Pregnant Or Crazy Period? Posted: 09-23-05 21:15pm
I’m a little freaked out. My period was
about four days late, but I didn’t give
it too much thought since I was two days
late last month, but all of a sudden I got
it in my head that I could be pregnant and
I bought a test. The first one came back
positive, but I took two more that came
back negative, so I figured i’d wait a
week and if I didn’t start my period,
i’d try another test, but today I
started. And now i’m freaked out
because this isn’t a normal period.
I’ve had horrible cramps for the past 5
hours and usually if I have bad cramps
they only last one or two hours at the
most. Also, my body temperature has
dropped and i’ve been throwing up.
Yesterday, when that test came back
positive, I was scared to death, but after
thinking about it, I really thought I was
pregnant. I just felt like I was and my
boyfriend thought so, too. Could I still
be pregnant or has my period just gone
haywire?

I would take another pregnancy test, if
you start getting a fever go to the
hospital. I don't want to alarm you, but
it kind of sound like a chemical pregnancy
or spontaneous abortion. What that is:
you get a positive but start you period.
Or you get a positive but your body
expells the pregnancy really soon, so you
hcg drops and since it was not high to
begin with you now get negatives.
Good luck, and remember head to the
hospital if you feel faint or get fever.
