Anyone Know of a Good Home Remedy For Inducing Labor?? Posted: 09-24-05 09:12am
My friend is so in need. She is 8 1/2
months+ and she is in terrible pain, and
just wants it to be finished. She's
heard of having sex, dr forbid her, she
knows of caster oil, she knows about
raspberry tea. Any other suggestions or
experiences would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks

Well, technically pregnancies should last
9 months, and in normal cases, the longer
the child is in her body of that 9 months,
the healthier it should be. If she only
has 2 weeks left to go, I almost feel she
should just wait it out. But I don't know
her pain tolerance, etc.

Please Help Me And Verypregnant Posted: 09-24-05 10:33am
I am in the same boat but then again I
think mama is talking about me or
verypregnant. To be honest I am so sick.
I keep getting sick. I know but my dr has
told me it would be fine to have her but
he wants me to make the choice. He says
that he will induce me at 39 weeks but the
thing is my mama says that hurts worse on
you then natural labor. Please I need
help and so does verypregnant...

Yes This Mama Agrees!!! Induction Hurts Worse Posted: 09-24-05 17:39pm
Yes, this mama says it hurts worse too.
I was induced part way with my first son,
and induced with both my others, just
never wanted to come out. And because
you know its gonna hurt I think it makes
it worse. Pluss its a medicated labor,
know what I mean, your natural labor might
not be like the medicated kind at all.
With my daughter I cried when they turned
the pitocin back on the next
morning--begging my husband to not let
them do it. Then I finally had her with
no pain meds at all. I wanted to have my
last son same way but he went into fetal
distress after induction and they had to
take him out. But natural labor, even
with the induction of my daughter was the
best thing ever happened to me. It was
wonderfull, I lived it all without
anything for the pain, I felt her come
down the birth canal and out--it was the
most amazing thing. I wish all women
could try and have the baby without pain
meds. Seriously!!!
I was talking about you angel. Maybe
someone has something you havent tried.
I heard castrol oil is bad so maybe not
try that one. I have heard it has worked
be4 though. Sometimes it
works--miserable diarhea though
