It is said that twins are carried down
from the mothers side, so twins being on
your dad's side wouldn't effect you any.
Also, only identicle twins are genetic I
believe.
This is just what I have read of course...
My dad has 2 twin brothers, I am pregnant
and its just one little baby in there
haha.

My kids kids should be expecting twins...
My great great grandgrandma had twins
then all my aunts had twins ( my mom would
have but had a tubel) so I assume that my
grand kids (hopefully thats a long time
away my oldest is 6 3/4) will have
twins... As an added bonus my hubby's
mom is a twin so... Not sure.. But I
assume that my grandkids will have twins
since it is prominate on the womens side.

It's always possible... :) my family is
full of twins...My moms, dads and both
in-laws sides. I really want to have
twins too. They say chances are like 6
or 7 years apart. I'm in that line. :)
i told my doctor I was planning on trying
for a baby in a year. I said we want two
kids. And he told me (jokingly) that if I
started right after I stopped my birth
control that i'd be really likely to have
twins and get both kids taken care of at
the same time. Then I asked him if
that's true and he said that alot of women
that have twins also have it in their line
but also started trying directly after
they got of birth control. He said your
body turns away all those eggs for so long
that once you stop the birth control they
seem too excited to get in and sometimes
more than one gets in. So then I told
him about how my family is flooded with
twins and so we are going to try for it.
I would love to have a boy and girl twin.
We have both fraternal and identical
twins in the family, but who knows. :)
i'll keep you in my prayers!!
