How could I allow a person to ruin my life
forever.
I'm a 19 year old african american women
who hasnt lead a wild life at all. I'm
the girl that listens to friends one night
stand affairs and am completely disgusted
by the fact that a person can just sleep
with random people. I'm a nice person, I
would never do anything to harm an
individual.
That it is why I dont understand why this
is happening to me.
About five to seven months ago I was
involved with a man that eventually ruined
my life. At first I was naive I would
let him use my new car, he wouldnt call me
and would be gone at hours at a time. He
even stole 100 dollars from me. After he
stole the hundred dollars he threatened to
kill me if I broke up with him , but I
managed to dodge him and he didnt call me
for awhile anymore.
Then out of nowhere the phone calls return
of his threats. Then suddenly my moms and
cars are stolen. I suspect that he has
done this.
But the drama doesnt stop there.
Just monday I went to the docotr for an
exam. There were tiny bumps in my
private area that seemed to worry me. I
prayed that it was nothing. And as soon
as the docotr saw me, he said that I had
genital warts. He was so blunt and mean.
He didnt explain it to me , he said that I
caught them from my boy friend. He gave
me a cream and that was it.
That was one week ago.
Since then my life has stopped I have
allowed one person to ruin not only my
familys life but mine too. I cant eat
anything... I cant go anywhere because I
feel so nasty everytime I think about it I
just cry. Who will love me now.....No
one.....I feel like a promiscuous
person...And ive only had sex with 2
people in my whole life.....I just want to
die..

It seems like all the bad stuff happens to
the person who least deserves it
dont let genital warts slow you down, my
brother has genital herpes and he has led
a normal life, he has 3 kids and has been
with many different girls who respect him
and his lifestyle.Its not the end of the
world.Keep your head up cause there's alot
of people in your position and they are
doing just fine.Believe in yourself.If you
dwell on the bad things that have happened
it will only keep you down and you will
never progress.So don't think that just
because you have a std that no man will
want you, it's easy to keep your partner
protected.Ill pray for and I hope things
start to look up for you.Just stay strong

The more and more I think about it the
more ugly I feel. I cant believe I
allowed someone to do this to me. I know
im smarter than this my life will never be
the same no one will ever love me or be
intimate with me again

You should at least swich doctors. Also
because you got the warts you should get
checked for everything. I got herpes 22
years ago and believe me I thought it was
the end of the world. Now I live a
normal life. But at least get a doctor
who's bedside manners are better than the
one you have. And get tested for every
std so you can take care of yourself and
continue to live a normal life.

I want you to know that this is not the
end of the world. 1 in 3 sexually active
adults has the hpv virus although many
dont show signs or symptoms for quite some
time. I caught the herpes virus about 5
years ago and was devastated beyond
belief. After some time I continued to
date again and when I thought that I might
want to have sex with someone I
begrudgingly told them the news. Some
guys broke it off. One guy turned out to
have it too, which was cool. That one
didnt work out in the ling run. Quite a
few guys didnt care and we just had safer
sex. Luckily I found the man of my
dreams and he couldnt care less because he
loved me so much. We have been happily
married for almost 2 years and I havent
had an outbreak in 3 years. There is
light at the end of the tunnel my friend.

My daughter is also pos for hpv. She
does not have the kind with warts and has
had much depression about it.

day that there is suppose to be an herbal
cure for hpv. It was on the tv, one of
those nightly info shows. Check into it
honey, maybe youll find out what it is.
But if you do just let me know too, my
daughter needs treatment like that too.

Im exactly the same as u hun, im disgusted
by 1 night stands, ive been with only 3
ppl in my life, my bf of 2.5 years has
been with 4 and wed always used protection
with the others but somehow we have both
ended up with not only genital warts but a
few days ago herpes as well..We have no
idea how this has happened..And the
doctors say it can be in ur system for
years without getting any symptoms...
We got warts a couple of years ago now,
and I can safely say we have both only had
the original outbreak and nothing since.
So warts is nothing to worry about trust
me...U might be lucky and never have
another outbreak in fact I have totally
forgotten all about the warts, and they
have never bothered me and ive lead a
totally normal life.
The herpes is a lot more painful..And I am
very scared about it, a lot more so than
the warts...I cant believe this has
happened to us wen we have both been so
careful, its so unfair :(
but seriously dont stress about the warts
u will be fine!!!
