Q: Positive?

I am 26 days late for my period. (not always normal)
i took a test thursday and it was invalid...No control line showed...6 hours later the control line showed with a positive. On friday it was positive.
These tests were early detection tests.
Went to planned parenthood and it was negative.
Do u think the planned parenthood test was negative because it was not an early detection test?
I have symptoms also (nauseated, sore breasts, areola is darker, moody)
i made an appointment with my doctor for a blood test and assessment for oct 5 (he is on holidays)

Yes
I think that the health test was wrong and you should go back.. You need to get a blood test done.

Could be, becoz every tester can test the urine for different hcg level. Only if ur urine has enough hcg then can u pass the level in the tester.

For example, u might be in the early stage of pregnancy n ur body only produces 30 ug/ml(not sure of the metrics) and the early pregnancy tester can test for anything above 25 ug/ml....... So get a positive result saying u r pregnant......

But in the clinic or hospital they could be using a 50 ug/ml tester. So ur uring is showing neg coz ur body has not produced enough hcg hormones to pass the 50 limit of the tester....

So that's why u have to test again a week later or maybe 2 weeks later to be confirmed pregnant........ But if u pass the early tester then u should be fine............
