I have been on ortho lo for 18 months. I have never had any other problems on it. I have never experienced spotting or break through bleeding. I have really screwed up on taking it some times too. I once went 5 days of missing it and still got my period on day 28 like clockwork. I had my last period onn september 4 and started my pack of pills on the 11th. On the 16th I started spotting, and it has gotten heavier as the days go by. I started cramping yesterday and am still bleeding. I am not supposed to start my period until this coming sunday. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. I do realize that it is a little early for it to be accurate. But am having all the symptoms of being pregnant. My boobs are bigger, i'm nautious. I contacted my doctor this morning and she said that it will be really hard to tell anything until next month. I am just wondering if being pregnant is a possibility. Is there anyone who has had a similar experience. Isn't it a little unusual to start bleeding 3 weeks before your due for your period, and bleed for 10 days? I have been under a little stress lately, but could that throw me off that bad? Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
