I had my appendix removed in august and
since it had burst ( causing an infection
to spread), I was kept in the hospital for
a week, on heavy antibiotics. In total, I
was on antibiotics for nearly 2 weeks. I
understand that being on antibiotics can
lead yeast infections, etc.. So after
seeing two paper-cut like things on the
inside of my vagina, I thought that this
could be due to heavy antibiotic use,
general weakness ( from surgery), diet,
etc. Is this something that can be
typical of taking antibiotics?
Also, do you know what other signs of
having a yeast ( candida, for example)
are? Can it , or another yeast cause
pimple-like, itchy things on the buttocks?
I noticed this as well....
I worried that this might be a symptom of
genital herpes...But I have never,every
had such symptoms and haven't even had sex
for a year and half.
If you have any info. On longterm
side-effects of antibiotics or really any
comments in general, please, please reply!
