Almost 19 Weeks And Yet to Feel Baby Move Posted: 10-01-05 01:10am
Hey all. According to my lmp I will be 19
weeks this tuesday and I still haven't
felt the baby move yet. First of all i'm
not sure what to expect, or how it feels.
This is our first baby. When I was at my
last appointment about 2 1/2 weeks ago we
got a heart rate of 140 and you could hear
the baby kicking like crazy, it was too
cute. But now i'm concerned I haven't
felt it yet. Does anyone have any info,
or has it happened to anyone else?
Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for replying.
That's what my baby's heart-rate was last
visit (first time we've been able to hear
the heart...Between all the kicks it was
hard, but we did it) it was at 140. I
don't know what i'm having yet, my doctor
wants me to have an ultrasound before my
next appointment, but that all depends on
if I get medical help. Insurance where I
work is extremely awful and would cover a
total of like a thousand dollars. I
realize that is something, but it costs a
fortune each paycheck and I only work 2
days a week. My husband works at the same
place as me, but we were told to fill out
an application for medical assistance.
Sooooo, if I find out I get medical
assitance i'll for sure go get my
ultrasound. My doctor wants to get a
better idea of the exact age of the fetus.
My husband is so excited, he wants me to
make the appointment so he can go too (if
we get the help) it would also be nice to
know what we're having so we can buy pink
or blue!!! We have so many yellow outfits
and blankets it's not funny!!!! My
parents have only begun buying things. So
once they know....It's gonna be tough to
keep them out of the stores! This is
going to be their second grandchild. On
my husbands side, this one will make
grandbaby number 20!!!!
Oh dear that's a long post...Sorry about
that, I got a bit carried away! Anyways,
thanks again!

Hey all! It's been awhile since i've
posted...Been busy. We moved into our own
place. We bought a cute little 2 bedroom
trailer.
Well, i've since felt the baby moving a
lot now, and my doctor says everything is
looking real good and going as it
should.
I did have an ultrasound today!! We're
havin' a little girl. That was my moms
guess, and my dad said it was twin boys
(boy wouldn't he be in trouble if that
were true!! I need to concentrate on
taking care of 1 before tending to
twins!!!!) he's expecting about 5 more
kids from me!
Loneytears, I just turned 24 the beginning
of october. My new due date changed from
march 5, to march 8 (big diff. Huh? Lol)
according to the ultrasound. It was real
hard for the lady to get all the pictures
and measurements she needed because the
baby was moving like crazy!!
But I just want to thank all of you who
replied to my post!! Take care!

I am fat. Everyone says where clothes
that fit and my breasts i'm not seeing
that yellow they say for the breast milk.
I'm starting to think something is wrong
because I don't see the yellow. I got my
blood type and all those testings for the
blood and stuff but am I really ok are
those accurate. The baby at 17 weeks was
fine but now almost 19 and I don't know
what to do...............Should I
amniocentesis or triple that thing the
blood test whatever?
