I Need Some Opinions Plz....... Posted: 10-02-05 11:18am
Ok..... So this is my story for about 6
months now I have been off the pill
because iam ttc. N-e-way my period is not
due till tomorrow but this morning
something in my head told me to take a
pregnancy test and so I did right after I
took it, i'll say a minute later a got a
positive result  but then I notice
the date on the test was expierd, is their
any possibility that the results can be
wrong due to the expiering date. What do
yall think? I dont want to get my hopes
up.
any thoughts or opinions will be very
helpfull.....

I have no idea if the expiry date can
affect the test result. If I were you I
think I might be inclined to buy a new
test and do the test again.
I wish you all the best.

I would deffinitely get another test to
make sure. I believe expiration dates
can have an effect on the results (but
that doesn't mean your not preg.) I know
how you feel...Been ttc for 2 1/2 years.
Hope it's pos.!

Yes, definitely get a new test! I assume
there is an expiration date on there for a
reason haha, which probably just means the
results cant be trusted after the date,
but you could very well be pregnant!

Yay!!!!!! Is Positive Posted: 10-02-05 23:26pm
Oh my god I still dont believe it.....
I just want to share the great news with
every one. I did another pregnancy test
actually 2 at the same time and it came
back positive, but is it possible that the
test is wrong? (dont want to get my hopes
up:cry: ). I mean my period is not due
yet till about 2 more days, I just cant
believe it, and then another thing that is
making me dought is that I dont have no
pregnancy symptoms only my nipples hurt
just a little bit not that much though.
What do u grils think? Plz I need some
one to talk to and share this happiness
with me.

When I first tested I didn't really have
any symptoms either besides sore nipples
which I didn't really pay any attention to
because that was usually one of the signs
that my period was going to start. But I
just had this nagging feeling that
something wasn't right (call me crazy but
I was at a party before I found out and
had a lot to drink and it didn't faze me
at all which I thought was kind of
strange) and decided that i'd test just to
make sure and sure enough it was positive.
Don't worry the symptoms will for sure
come and congradulations.

Happy 4 U! Posted: 10-03-05 00:54am
Congratulations dear!
U r definitely pregnant. Firstly u must
understand one thing.
Different people,
different body,
different symptoms!!!
Some have early symptoms, some dun n some
have late ones. So dun compare with
others but observe ur body and go through
this pregnancy stages with everyone to
share ur joy and fear. We r here to
listen!
Firstly, choose a gyn/ob to guide u n take
care of u n ur baby through this 9 months.
Start getting pre-natal vitamins and
eating healthy food. Do light exercises
to keep ur body in great shape n fitness.
When seeing ur doc for the first time, do
a through check-up...
Can't wait to hear the baby's first cry,
am I right? I am soooooooo happy for
uuuuuuuu!!!
Glad u did it. I hope I will do it this
month too.
Hey, share some secrets on ttc??? So that
I can share my happiness with u too. Good
luck!

Congratulations!!!
Its an amazing feeling right?, got a
feeling that it won't have sunk in yet
though hehe, only when I saw my little
titch at the scan did I start believing
it, I thought that my mind had played
games on me etc.
I got a positive test before my period was
due too!!, I too had that instinct that
said I was pregnant, and even knew deep
down that i'd get a positive result even 1
day before my period due !.
Just to let u know, if/when u start
getting morning sickness etc, and start
feeling soooo tired, just don't let it get
you down, keep in mind that it will
probably go away at bout 13 weeks!, I felt
like crap, didn't think it would go away,
and thought that i'd be one of those
unlucky women who have morning sickness
throughout their pregnancy, instead sure
enough at around 13 weeks, it went away!!.
I'm now 16 weeks and I feel great, its
true what they say, that the second
trimester is the honeymoon period, coz the
tiredness is gone, got a bump but not too
big to get in the way, no morning sickness
so i've gone back to being able to eat
like normal, I can also let myself go
everynow and then, food wise without
worrying bout putting weight on!
Anyway good luck!!!! I'm sure everything
will go well!!
Keep us updated with how its going!!!!

Thank you so much to all the reply's I
really appreciated .
Hi lovablepetsworld
is good to always right down the day your
period came in a calendar, know how many
days in between your cycle is mine is 31
days. I would also go into this web site
to help me figure out when I would ovulate
(www.My monthly cycles. Com) and do it
according to the days they would say,
laying in bed after sex for 20 minutes
etc. It seems that the more u try, the
harder it gets just relax, dont give up
and keep trying it will happen you'll be
in my prayers .
I wish you all the luck in the world and
alot of baby dust coming your way, keep us
updated.

Thank you lil mama3,
i will do that. My first day of my last
period is 29 september and my period is
over yesterday(3 october) night. My
period cycle is like 30 to 32 days
cycle.
So which are the good days/dates for me to
try n what should I look out for.......
Ok normally when I have sex, I get up and
wash becoz I need to urine(sorry about
being frank) or its just that the sperm is
overflowing our and I can't sleep due to
the uncomfortable feeling. Some times, I
wipe and sleep.
So what advice do I have becoz I really
want a baby and it's my first baby that I
am trying. I can't speak to my mum openly
as she is the shy type. I am counting on
u gals...
