Hello, I am getting married at the end of
november and we are going on our honeymoon
directly after the wedding. I am about
to start birth control and was told to
start this sunday (today) because my
period ended this week (doctor told me too
also). However, if I start today that
would make it to where I will start my
period in november during our honeymoon
and that is the last thing I am interested
in. Does anyone know what will happen if
I wait until next week to start birth
control? I don't want to do anything
harmful to my body but then again, I do
not want to be on my period during our
honeymoon... How horrible!
Suggestions greatly appreciated!

What kind of pills are you taking? If
they're monophasic, you can use them to
skip your period for 3 months, but I don't
think that works with triphasic pills.

If u want to skip your period, when you
get to the white pills or whatever the
final week is skip those and start a new
pack.
