Since friday i've had unberable lower back
pain, depending on how i'm laying or the
pressure I put on my leg it shoots down my
left leg to my inner knee. Also I can feel
my back spasming, it also feels incredibly
tight I cannot get my muscles to relax. I
cannot sit up, I can barely walk I had to
crawl into the kitchen yesterday. I'm
just completly miserable. I thought it
was getting better today but as the day
wore on it became worse, everytime I move
its a sharp stabing pain in the middle of
my lower back

Sorry, ran out of room. Anyway the
stabbing pain is right around where my
tailbone is and a little lower, it spreads
to the left side of my lower back. I
can't straighten out, but if I can manage
to stand up for a minute or two the pain
isn't as bad and I can almost stand
(hunched over) without holding on to
anything. Does anyone know what this is?
Should I see a doctor? Or will this go
away if I rest? I've been in bed since
friday and taking painkillers but it
doesn't seem to be helping too much,
thanks.

You need to see your doctor asap! Before
you allow this to get worse, he/she can
prescribe not only medicine that you need
but also order x-rays and if needed an
mri. They will also put you in physical
therapy.
You also need to be totally open with your
doc and let them know what meds you have
been using to treat this and what you have
found is helping.
Imho it sounds like you need meds and pt
along with some decent rest. Staying at
rest 100% of the time is not a recommended
way to help with pain and so you need to
get out of bed and go to the doc.
