Hello all,
I am new to this board; I have been
reading all the posts trying to find some
advice from someone elses'. But I am
not quite finding what I am looking for.
So I will post my own. Here it is.
I am 30 yrs old and I have an almost eight
year old son. His father and I ended up
sleeping together on the 22nd of
september. I didn't think it was the
right time in my cycle, since I have been
keeping track of my periods for the last
several months religiously. So I didn't
think anything about it. And, if my
calculations were correct my time of
ovulation should have been between the
14th and the 19th. The thing is I
should have started my period this time on
the 30th or the 1st. I have not started
yet, and it is now the 4th. I know that
it isn't very late. The only thing that
has happened is very slight spotting that
started about 11:30 pm on the 3rd. It
is a pinkish red with mucous in it.
About the only symptoms of pregnancy that
I have is a constant queasiness, lots of
gas, and I have also had some mild
cramping. My breasts have, at least
every month that I can recall, hurt badly
starting about week before I get my
period. Almost so bad that I didn't
want to wear a bra. But this month they
have not hurt or gotten even the least bit
sensitive. I thought that was odd. I
know they hurt pretty bad when I was
pregnant with my son. And, I also have
that same feeling I had when I was
pregnant with my son before it was
confirmed with any test. It just isn't
quite as strong. I know I would like to
be pregnant because I would like to have
another child. And I know that my son
is ready to be a big brother. He wants
that so much that he talks about it all
the time. I will not have any money to
get a test til friday, but I will be
getting one no matter. I just am
looking for a little advice or similar
experience in the meantime.
Thank you.

Hi there!
To me it sounds like you are pregnant,
especially since your flow was very light
this time around. You are also not
exhibiting your normal signs of pms, but
rather signs of pregnancy. Of course I
wouldnt know for certain lol, but to me it
sounds like you are.
As for when you had sex, you can get
pregnant any time during your cycle,
doesnt matter if its your fertile days or
not. Plus, the 22nd is right after your
most fertile days, which can still leave
you pretty fertile lol.
Let us know what the tests says :d

Well, I started bleeding a little more the
next day but not much more. The days
that followed got just a bit heavier than
that but still not like a normal flow for
me. It is now friday, and I have started
just spotting again. This is totally not
normal for me. I usually have my period
for a total of 6-7 days with
light-medium-heavy-light days. I did
have some very small clots in there, which
is also a little unusual because I usually
have medium sometimes bigger. This has
been normal for me for almost as long as I
have had my periods. I did have the
cramps for a couple days after I started
bleeding but then they stopped. I still
have the gas and sometimes the queasiness
like I was having. Just not to the same
extent that I was. I did take a test
this morning, and it did come back
negative. So I don't think that I am.
I think it was more stress(of wanting to
be) than anything else that made me late.
Thanks all for listening and all who gave
input/advice.
