I am 27 yrs old and pregnant with my second child about 9 weeks.
Me and my hubby had intercourse on sunday night, afterwards I had bleeding which was slightly pink a lil bright red nothing imo to worry about. Last night in bed however I had cramps kinda like my period and red blood mixed with mucous and small lil blot clots or. This morning I am fine no pain and no bleeding yet, now yesterday I did have some pains that felt like streching ligaments during the early evening hours, before the bleeding started.
I am thinking trauma from intercourse since no other signs before intercourse but the bleeding started after. Maybe the streching and softing of the cervix? What do you think?.....My first ob appt is not until oct 27 when I am like 12 or 13 weeks . :?
My period would also be due about now I read somewhere that you can bleed while pregnant a lil bit during the same time as you would with your cycle?

If you passed blood clots and the blood was bright red... That is definitely not a good sign. Usually bleeding after sex consists of just a breif light pinkish bleed and then it ends. I have experienced this and I have never bled a week later from intercourse.

I used to cramp a little around when I was going to get my period, but never bled. I know some people do bleed, but passing blood clots is never a good sign. I would go to the er and they can do tests on you to make sure everything is okay, you don't have to wait for a doctors appointment. Atleast this way, even if everything ends up okay, you can have peace of mind and not drive yourself insane until the 27th!

Bleeding
I had sex when I was about 7 weeks pregnant and there was blood, but it soon stopped. I was worried too, but I had a scan done that same week and I cud see and hear my baby's heart beating like crazy. Of course I have since held off of intercourse becuz I don't want to risk anything and considering that I had two miscarriages last year I just want to be careful this time around.
However, clots are definately not a good sign. And it is possible to miscarry without bleeding either 'missed abortion' it is called, so I wud try to get to myob/gyn as soon as poosible. With my miscarriages all I had was a brownish discharge, was put on bed rest but I still lost my babies, one of which was twin, so just becareful okay? I do hope that all goes well for you

Wow!!! Talk about being responsible. Anyway, call them first thing tomorrow, after what I went thru with my own miscarriages I have learned not to play the fool when it comes to stuff like that. I really do hope that the baby is ok though and you are in my prayers, always. Hang in there.

I wanted to also say this not to scare anyone but just to make others aware, when I miscarried I had no cramping I still have no cramping the only sign I had was blood and the ultrasound, the blood was not ever heavy like a period or how you would expect it to be. It only lasted about 4 days.
My boobs are still sore and the doc says it may take 2 weeks for me to lose my symptoms but please always check with your doc if you have anything unusal!
