I Really Need Help, Please!!!
Posted: 10-04-05 11:50am

Hi,
my boyfriend and I are ttc and I have some questions on my probability on being pregnant. Here's the scenario I recently went of of the pill on 9/11. I have had my period twice this month. The first time 9/11-9/16, this one was normal. The second time was 9/20-9/25, this one was really light and was pinkish and mucus like(day1-3) then it changed to brownish and thick(day3-4) then really red and heavy(day 4-5). I was scheduled to ovulate on 9/22 - 9/27. I had sex on 9/9, 9/10, 9/11, 9/16, 9/17, 9/18, 9/23, 9/24, 9/25, 9/28, 10/1, 10/2. I did have sex during my period. Each time he did cum but now always inside of me. I have taken a pregnancy test on 9/14, 9/24, 9/29, 10/2, 10/3, all of which have came back neg. This is really depressing :( I have some of the symptoms but am not sure if I am imagining them because I want to be prego or are actually symptoms, I have been feeling nausea, bloated, tired(extreme), cravings for food, cramping, my lower back is killing me and my back is not out of whack, a bubbling feeling in my abdomen, and my nipples tingle but not all the time.

Here's the questions: first, what are the chances of me actually being pregnant? Second, how soon should I test again? The neg. Are really getting me down. If I were still on the pill I would be having my period on 10/8.

Please reply!!

Baby dust to all those ttc xoxo

I completely understand. I am going through the same thing. I have been trying for a month even though i've been off the pill since july. I haven't had my period other than the first week I was off of the pill, which my gyno said is normal until my cycle gets normal again. We've been trying all month, every other day. Like you, i've done quite a few pregnancy tests but they've all come out negative. The last one was today, I took it because for the past couple of days i've felt nauseated and uncomfortable. I felt soooooo aweful when it came back neg. I almost don't want to take any test anymore because I feel so bad when I find out i'm not preg.
I heard the average time it takes to concieve is six months. Also I feel so silly acting this way over a month because a lot of people on this board have been ttc for so long.
I don't have any advice for you, but I could use some myself. I have no idea when i'm actually ovulating since my cycles all crazy from the pill. But when I read your post, I felt better because it sounds just like me and I feel a little less alone.
So thank you...And baby dust to you!

Thank you for understanding. I am trying not to get down about this, I just figure keep trying and i'll keep testing every 2 weeks or so. I just hope that it happens soon. Until then I will keep testing and keep worrying, I guess. On the plus side though, I am really conscious of my health, even more so than before just in case. You know.
I hope that some day soon it will come back positive for me, for you, and for everyone else trying.

Baby dust to all of you.

I hear you about the health thing. My husband thinks it's great....Guess who is the designated driver all the time now! I am also being really careful to take prenatals and try to eat right. I totally don't get the way your body acts pregnant even if you aren't...I guess the mind is a powerful thing and when you want to be that bad you really feel that way.
I hate the build up to when you actually take the test. I get myself all ready and then when I see the negative result, it feel so bad. Hopefully we're on our way, though.

I understand as I am also trying and everytime the period comes late, I test n neg. Results. My body acts pregnant but the results dun cooperate. Feel like giving up becoz this is adding stress.

But I really want a child of my own...... So badly that I have planned to rape my husband this month for 15 days. Hahaha!

My period was on the 29 sept and it ended on 3 oct... My cycle is about 30-32 days. I raped my hubby yesterday nite. I am planning another one tonite.

What are the tips after sex. Does lying down after sex for 20 minutes before getting up to do work or go toilet help ttc???

Give tips plssssssssssss!!! Advance thanks@!

Usually ovulate around 14 days from next period start day. So, assuming 20 day cycles, around the 16th day of your cycle with first day of your period being day 1. Another trick is to have sex every other day for the whole month, then there is always fresh sperm waiting for the egg.

Good luck

I stopped my pill about a month ago I am supposed to get my period in 2 days. I have some light cramping and tender and painful breasts. I hope I am pregnant but I think it takes much longer than just a month off the pilll.
