Pregnancy & Birthcontrol

I just had my 1st baby september 26th and am breastfeeding him. I am almost done bleeding and already started to have sex again. I know breast feeding isn't birth control, but could I still get pregnant so soon? When should I be worried about getting on birth control and what kinds of birthcontrol could I use since I am breastfeeding?

Hi, yes you can get preg and even more likely to because you are breast feeding. Im not sure what kind of bith control to use because I have never been on any.. You said you just had a baby you really should have waited some weeks to have sex it would be safer... Good luck

Didnt your doctor advise you not to have sex yet? It has only been a little over a week! I was told atleast 5 weeks... Your cervix is still compromised and you can get a really bad infection... If I were you, I would wait the 5 weeks, its not worth the risk!

Yup, you shouldn't be having sex for 6 weeks and then get on bc, you are extremelly fertile after having a baby and it is super dangerous to you and fetus if you get pg right away again.
