Hello everyone, i'm new here so none of you have heard anything about me. Heres a quick update, i'm 16 (17 in 18 days) and my boyfriend joel is 18, I am 7 months pregnant and I live with joel becuase my parents abused me. But last week my dad tried to get me to come home with him and I refused he ended up punching me in the face and I lost blance, and tripped over my coffee table. I the back of my head open and had to get stiches. I went to a different doctor for the sitches and he asked me how far along I was I told him and he said I should get tested to see if my baby is okay. So I did. The doctors said my baby had been a little shaken and I had landed on my stomach funny hitting it a little bit. They think my baby might end up being slow or being a still born from this...

I have been looking forward to this baby since I found out but since I will only be 17 when I have it i'm not sure if I can raise a slow baby and go through school......Help?

Are you pressing charges against your father?? If not you need too. As far as having a "slow" baby, my only advise to you is just take it day by day, talk more to the doctors. At least you have your bf by your side through this. I'm sorry, I don't really know what else to say. Good luck to you, have faith, things seem to all work out in the end.

Please tell us you called the police or cps on your father.. It is beyond me how a man could ever touch a women, let alone a pregnant women who is your daughter.
There are tests that can be done to make sure your baby is going to be okay. Just take it one day at a time because who knows, the baby could be fine.
My biggest advice is to press charges against your father. And pray for a safe healthy baby.

I wish you luck.

I think your baby will be just fine. Pregnant women are very clumsy anyways and lots of them fall flat on their tummy and the baby is just fine. My best friend (who was 8 months preggy by the way) was getting out of her car to check the mail (she cudn't reach the box from her car) and when she did, she tripped and fell right on her tummy!!! Of course she paniced and went to the hospital. The doctor told her that her baby was well protected inside of the uterin wall and that he would be fine. The doctor did run some test just to ease her mind though and the baby did turn out to be just fine. It really takes alot to lose a bbay with a fall. Unless you are falling from a long distance or down some stairs or something. Your father is an aweful man it sounds like and you should have him locked up for the rest of his life. Your baby will be okay...Good luck to you and your bf!!!
