I was just curious but my girlfriend thinks she may be pregnant and she took two tests which came back negatitve, but she didn't take it when it said you were suppose to. Anyways, the last two times she had her period she said it was like a day long and that is it. A couple of weeks ago she went to her doctor to get on birth control again and they did the tests to see if she is clean and stuff, and they sent her a letter saying she was but she should come back in a couple of months. She called the doctor to see why and for some reason they lost her paper, I don't know sounds dumb, so he said if she has a period again to come in after that and they will do a test to see. Honestly I really know nothing about when you are suppose to test to see if you are. My question is though, when she went to the doctor he gave her the prescription for the birth control pills and she has been taking them for like the past couple of weeks and she also has been taking ibuprofen cuz her tooth has been bothering her since she needs her wisdom teeth out. She didn't ask the doctor on the phone if she should stop taking the pills, but now i'm worried that if she is still taking them and by chance she is pregnant, she could be harming the child, and I would want my child to be very healthy. Should she stop taking the pills or will she be fine until she takes the test at the doctors which could be within the next two weeks? She thinks I am over reacting. Thanks.
