My Opinion!
Posted: 10-09-05 06:42am

Right, i'm really sorry for making yet another thread about fat family, but i've had this niggling doubt in my head since I first read that fatfamily was pregnant without uterus.
I've always defended her right to have the benefit of the doubt, as none of us here are experts bout this, theres no proof that she is or isn't, whether it is possible or impossible that a woman can get pregnant without uterus etc........

But......... Unfortunatly, the fact that she is clearly seeking attention every second of the day, using any opportunity to tell anyone whos listening that shes pregnant with uterus, even on threads that haven't been started by her or have absolutly no connection with her condition. This really makes me doubt that she is pregnant, because the way I see it, is that if she was and knew she was, there would be no need to constantly seek acceptance from everyone else.
Saying this, if she is lying I really do believe that she isn't consciously lying but that she really believes herself that she is pregnant, if this is so i'm really sorry for her, but she needs help.

Just to add to my doubts, I was having a really good look at the u/s, and they look sooo similar to mine when I had 2 ovarian cysts. If u read in the illuminated columns there one 'left' and one 'right', I assume these to be her left and right ovary, which cleary show what seem to be sacs in both, u can read the dimentions too, if she was pregnant, she certianly wouldn't have 1 sac in her ovary let along 1 in each sac, so I think the only thing these u/s shows is that she was a ovarian cysts in both ovaries.
If there was a sac outside the ovary, at 7 weeks u would be able to see an embryo, as I had a normal u/s at 6 weeks+3 days, and I have fotos showing a sac and the embryo inside.

Am sorry fatfamily, but I think you've pushed people too far, throwing all this is peoples faces so much that its not a simple case of believing in miracles or whatever it is etc, but a case of weighing up all the proof for and against u.

Thats my opinion, from a non expert, mommy to be, logical minded 24 yr old woman, who would like to believe but who is constantly finding it more difficult to do.

If the sacs are not cysts, what are they?, there are 2 one on the left and one on the right? Both with different measurements.
If they were gestational sacs, then it would mean 2 things, your carrying twins ( unless it is only 1 sac taken from different angles, but that doesn't explain the 2 different sets of measurements), and your pregnancy would have been confirmed!.
What did the doc say? What are they??

don't bother asking her about doctors. They're too "unqaulified" in her opinion.

its says on the report dominant folicle, which is the same as corpus luteum in women who have all female organs. It is proof that the ovum escaped like 5 weeks before that just like I said,. But in me they call it dominant follicle, in you they would say corpus luteum, cuz you still have uterus. It is the same thing--it is where the egg comes from. After the egg is "not" fertilized the hole closes over and new cycle begins, never closed over, new cycle has not begun. In you that would mean you did not have your period, and did not ovulate again following month and that ovum is fertilized(pregnant)--in me it means I never did ovulate again, and ovum is fertilized(pregnant).( if not fertilized it would close over and you would have your period, but me I dont have periods.) the ultra sound tech was freaking!!! You can tell by what she says, and dr dint even see the resullts, although he says he did.
I have my u/s report in my packed stuff so I cant get it out. And it is possible it is twins, havent seen anyone since 10 weeks and he did nothing but make me hurt and send me home. I actually walked out before discharge cuz he wouldnt listen to me!!! Last u/s was 5 weeks after conception, would be 7 weeks lmp--if I had a period>

drs are not so perfect(well, in my opinion they have always failed me, and have always been mis-guided when it comes to my body. Long before this happened.)

i had heart pains for 9 years be4 the dr found it, after full cardiac arrest. I currently have a critical back condition involving my spinal cord and genitalia, making stimulation absent and impossible to hold my urine--nerves cut off. In most people its emergency situation, but since it was workers comp I got no treatment. Then found dr who knows whats up he says 3 surgeries in one to fix me. This condition started aug 2001. My legs are 1/2 paralysed. No perineal nerve signal to my brain--one dr said walking paraplegic. My third pregnancy in 1984 they saw me at 5 weeks preg, did pelvic and urine test for preg and said I wasnt preg. Gave me a shot to make period start. Did not start period, cuz I was indeed preg--just like I told them. Birthing my first son they left me in pushing pains for 2 hours, without any assistance. When they put me in stirrups baby came instantly. Veins were popping out in my neck--mom about killed the Dr. I was over 2 weeks late, and in labor 36 1/2 hours total. So needless to say I put no trust in them, I tried for years to trust drs, found out the only thing different from me and them is--they have done more studying. They do not let themselves be led by god most of the time, because their brains get in the way. But journals say---but my experience says---what about --there are no set facts in science--all pple are different and every case is unique just like us humans are unique. What about they should listen to us as an expert on our own bodies. We should know just a little about ourselves.

Sorry so long

'its says on the report dominant folicle, which is the same as corpus luteum in women who have all female organs'

when they found 2 cysts, the docs explained that my cysts had been formed because the 'folicle' hadn't closed up, resulting in a period that lasted max 1 day.

'after the egg is "not" fertilized the hole closes over and new cycle begins, never closed over, new cycle has not begun. In you that would mean you did not have your period, and did not ovulate again following month and that ovum is fertilized(pregnant)--in me it means I never did ovulate again, and ovum is fertilized(pregnant).( if not fertilized it would close over and you would have your period'

so if the follicle doesn't close up, it doesn't necessarily mean that your pregnant! And that the egg has been fertillized , sometimes it just happens, and turns into a cyst. This explains the pain too, I had quite a bit of pain when the doc pushed my stomach.
My sister in law had missed her period only to find out that she had a cyst the size of large mandarin, for the same reason.

'and it is possible it is twins,'

your not happy with having one miracle baby, u think it could be twins??, so your saying that maybe 2 eggs (1 from each ovary) got fertilized at the same time, and that maybe your having twins??, surely that would mean u have 2 babies floating around your stomach?????
That would be the only explanation, because to have 2 babies in one sac would mean that only 1 egg had been fertilized and had divided into 2 (which normally results in identical twins), which would be impossible if u had released 2 eggs.

C'mon, I believe that doctors can be wrong, closed minded etc etc, but I think you've let your imagination run away with yourself, and your seeing something that isn't there.

The bottom line is you cannot be pregnant without a uterus. One could have a tubal pregnancy but it would die shortly after fertilization or rupture the fallopian tube. I don't mean to be rude, but I think fat family is pulling everyone's leg.

Now i'm not saying she would do this but what if she's some crazy who tells everyone she's pregnant and then goes and takes a baby from somewhere. That's whats been at the back of my mind.

Baby Out of Uterus
Posted: 10-11-05 14:38pm

I was watching discovery health something about amazing survivals or something like that. Anywho, this lady got pregnate with twins. One of the eggs made it to the uterus , the other didn't. It attached to her splean, or outside of uterus, I can't remember. They had to do a c-section at 8 months because the baby outside of uterus was killing whatever it attached to. So I know it is possible to carry outside of uterus. But without uterus i'm not sure. I do know that there is not enough room for a baby to just float from under ribs to under belly button and such. I asked many people and docs and have looked on web. If it has attached to something there would still be the sac with amniatic (sp) that has an umbelica cord that is attached to something. Baby can't be free swimming in there. Sorry.
